Mini fridge grow box

This is my mini fridge grow setup I just started.. I’m using a cheap 600w led I got off amazon and A cheap thermometer off amazon. Will update when I get computer fans and the carbon filter/ exhaust fan kit. Gonna need to be very small plants grown. Why don't you just use a 2'X2' tent?

Old computer fans and a phone charger is what u want as many as u can find, check the computer lab on campus or any repair places ect


Is that fridge still working?

How will u exhaust for air exchange?

I always liked this idea though, nobody will question a humming fridge.
Beats a PC case grow!

Your literally at least the 3rd person doing this on here in the last month. Though one guy has done an amazing job on the technical side with co2 injection,, scrubbing and still having cooling using the fridges cooling units.

I think you would be better with a little DIY light though, keep that wattage down and have more usable light.
Still, be good to see if you pull this off.

Hi there... I’m going to hook up a humidity controller and temps turn controller so it can cut it off when it get too hot/ cold or too humid inside it. Thanks for the info but I ordered new computer fans and I’m gonna run 2 towards the bottom of the box and I ordered a carbon filter /exhaust fan kit off amazon that I’m going to do out of the back of it.. there used to be a compressor and I’m gonna put the fan where it used to be to avoid suspicion of a little micro grow.

Thanks man I really hope it works too with the temp and humidity controller I have a really good feeling about it.

Sorry for the late update but everything is here and I’ve built it in to the fridge but put the carbon filter on the outside to conserve space inside for plant/ light inside the fridge. I killed all the old plants on purpose and started some new seeds that all sprouted luckily so I guess I’ll just see how this goes with the first grow! I’ll try to post weekly updates.

Fuck ya, I'm excited to see how this works out! Me and you would get along just fine as I use the same precision tools to build my projects :hump:

I'm guessing no one will notice a thing. If anyone questions the filter on top of the fridge...just tell them it's for their own protection and leave it at that and walk away. No one will want to open the fridge.

Another tactic is to just hang "DANGER - LIVE VIRUSES INSIDE - DO NOT OPEN WITHOUT FULL PROTECTION" sign on the front of it. Never did have any more company after that one... :confused:bongsmilie

Haha thanks man! Sawzall vs the world lmfao I took 4 shoe boxes and hollowed them out cause I’m also into sneakers so no one will expect it ‍♂ And I put soda can boxes over the side filter so it looks like a 12 pack just have it off for photos.
