Bodhi DLA 7 and Healing Hashplant LED Grow

I wasn't planning on starting a journal for these, but since I couldn't find much info on them, figured I'd share the experience for those that might have the same packs. These have been on 12/12 for about 10 days now.

Lights :
HLG 135watt kit - used for DLA 7
Roleadro Cob 135watt - used for Healing Hashplant

Soil : FFOF + added perlite

Nutes : I have FF trio (grow big, big bloom and tiger bloom) and Botanicare Cal/Mag.

Temps : Due to my tent being in my laundry room, temp and RH fluctuates when we use washer and dryer, but normally 72-77 with RH around 50 - lights on .

DLA 7 has gotten some training (bent her over) and Healing Hashplant was topped once at I can't remember which node :D
They are both showing some deficiencies , which I think is Cal/Mag so working on fixing them up

So I gave DLA 7 1 gal of water with about 5ml cal/mag and maybe 2ml grow big yesterday and was anxious to see the effects the feeding had.
I don't think she enjoyed it

I can see the flowering is progressing but so are the deficiencies ...

I'm thinking I may have underestimated how powerful these HLG QB lights are, even though mine is just 135 watts. I have raised the lights and have a clip on fan on the way. Not having anything in the tent to move the air around was bugging me anyway. Hopefully DLA 7 bounces back, she was looking so good no too long ago. Man, when shit goes south, it goes quick :dunce:

DLA 7 has been dealing with some issues, thanks to me ofc... hopefully she survives the lack of skill lol
Healing Hashplant is faring better, there's some yellowing and necrosis going on in the mid section and lowers but otherwise doing ok

Add low temps to the list of problems. It just got really cold out where I live and it's affecting the room that the tent is in, because there's no heat vent in there. Is 52 degrees bad enough to think about putting a heater in there on a timer? I turned off one of the exhaust PC fans I'm using to help raise the temps. Healing Hashplant is showing some purple now, probably because of the low temps.

Coming up to 3 weeks

Lower temps in the tent are slowing these girls down a little bit. Last night's low was 55. Idk if I'm gonna dick around getting a heater in there, might let them ride it out.

DLA is looking pretty mangled, but I'm hoping to get her to the finish line. I checked the runoff today after I fed her and it was around 5! :wall:
Also cleaned up her underside a bit, I feel pretty good about removing lower bud sites ( what do they call that, super cropping? ).

Healing Hashplant is doing all right, showing lots of purple. She's due to get watered tomorrow, so I'll take a better look at her then.

New growth looks good. Guessing some kind of deficiency.
Throw some decent pics up on https://www.rollitup.org/t/have-a-plant-problem-check-here-first.157345/unread
Should get some advice there. I am not good at diagnosing
Thanks, I did post there about a week ago I think. She was/is hungry no doubt, I know that because I practically didn't feed after transplant, but I think there were other issues at hand as well. Heat stress from HLG being too close and not having a fan inside the tent to name one. I don't know why PH got so out of whack though. I need to invest in PH and PPM pens

The Healing Hashplant is actually called a Heavenly Hashplant. I knew it was one of the two, but I settled on "Healing" without double checking.
Oops :eyesmoke: How did that happen.. my apologies
Healing or Heavenly ...she is a hottie

Sooo the above mentioned hottie dropped some fucking nanners over night. And it wasn't just one or two. Almost all the mains had a couple right on the top of the buds. I have carefully removed them using tweezers and cup of water ( dipping tweezers in it before plucking another ). I'll have to take a better look and check for light leaks. Honestly, out of the two, I would've expected the DLA 7 to hermie because how rough she's looking. Hopefully I can salvage this grow and get something in the end.
Nanners be gone ! :finger:

Cleaned up the girls a bit. More so the Heavenly Hashplant. Trimmed off all the center sucker branches, ( should have done this earlier, but lesson learned )and some of them had more bananas growing on there. The rest of the plant seems to be ok for now, but these fuckers are hard to find.

P1000681.JPG I'm going to dry that larf just to see what's up. I expect 0 potency. I'm hoping this girl doesn't go full blown hermie where I have to throw her out. DLA 7 seems to be ok so far, other than looking like Fall, no nanners at least

Here is the 4 week update since 12/12.
I top-dressed both containers with handful of earthworm castings and watered each with 1gal ph-ed water. I hope they like it. Never tried doing this before.

I wonder if you have salt buildup and should do a flushing. did anyone suggest that? I don't know though so get second opinions.

I had posted in problems section before and couple different suggestions were made. I did flush once, just in case. By flushing I mean, I used 2 gals of water instead of just 1, which normally gives good amount of runoff. I think I just underfed them, + I didn't bother with PH-ing water in the beginning, + there was no fan inside the tent, so DLA 7 got heat stress I think. HLG generates lot more heat than that shitty Roleadro COB.

It gets that cold in my flower room as well this time of year; I run DWC so it actually helps with the algae build-up (it can't form because it's too cold) and to my understanding there's more dissolved oxygen in water with lower temps (so more O2 for the roots). That being said, I get the same slow-down as you, kind of annoying, but usually doesn't affect much else but time period and sometimes aesthetics - purps!

What's the lineage on DLA7? I've snagged some DLA11 I'm looking to run soon!

Anyway, nice work! Looking forward to seeing cured pics...

Yeah I'm just going to let them ride it out. When you know your setup isn't perfect, you don't expect perfect results. All is well as far as I'm concerned lol

I was looking to get some heavy Indica strains, and chose DLA 7 which is Old Mother Ghani ( ghani as in Afghani )x 88G13Hashplant. I just checked, the pack you have has the same daddy - g13HP, mom's a pakistani. DLA7 was very vigorous plant until some things went wrong. She's going to finish though, I'll see to that. Giving off very earthy/musky nauseating in a good way type smell so far. We shall see.

I posted this a few days ago. Today I rolled a small joint, with some of that stuff I cleaned off of Heavenly HP at 3.5 weeks. Like I posted, I expected 0 potency, boy was I wrong. Yes, harsh as Fu** to smoke, still feel that shit in my throat and I threw the rest of the J out, but definitely packed a punch. How can that be at 3.5 weeks? I'm no light weight either. Kinda smoke all day ...
On that good note, both girls seemed to have enjoyed some earthworm poop..these girls are so dirty :spew::D:weed:

DLA7 is hangin in there, but she's got ways to go still.
Hashplant is not going to last much longer I think and I keep finding bananas on her so I'm not sure how long she's got.
