Quick question:

1. How much molasses do you mix with the water for normal watering?

2. Does that change at various stages of growth or do you include the molasses every time you water through out it's wonderful little life?

Does molasses act as a replacement for most nutes? Or just a helpful tool to aid in absorbsion? :eyesmoke:

I was a rollitup virgin . . . till now. My first proud post! Don't flame me too bad guys. Can't we all just grow along?

Unfortunately, molasses is impossible to get where I live. Are there any other alternatives?
Where do you live? Siberia? jk

But mollases can be found in about 99% of the grocery stores across North America. Its usually found in the same isle as pancake syrup, or occasionally found in the same isle as breakfast cereals. It should be at most about 10$ a bottle, but its about 3.50$ in my neck of the woods.

Also, make sure to get unsulphured mollases. I use a brand called Black Strap, but i have used a brand called "Grandma's" or something like that and they are about the same, just BS is cheaper :lol::lol:

Also, use about a tablespoon per gallon, and you WILL see the the difference :bigjoint:

Actually, I live about a 2 to 3 hour flight from Siberia. And molasses is impossible to get here. So does anyone know of an alternative to molasses?

i've read honey for the sugars but doesn
t have all the benefits of molasses
aka help delivering micro nutrients and managing soil

also brown sugar is pretty much powdered molasses

Are you another advocate of trimming all the fan leaves where you can see stem? It does not look like you left a lot, yet your buds are huge. I've seen people debating the fact and was curious on your take.

Thanks

There's treachery afoot
Sorry about the late answers ya'll, been a little busy with the holiday approaching. Let's see, yes, they are real. On this particular bunch I DID strip alot of the vegetation as was part of the abuse. No really, had friends helping when I was out of town and they tend to overwater and did. thus, has yellowing leaves and decided to cut them off as they were shading the buds. Usually I bend the larger leaves out of the way, but here cut alot out, roughly 4 larger leaves per plant per day. When it came time to harvest, colas were huge, the largest I have ever had. Dried and cured for a month and wowee, they pack a punch. Will start four more clones this week to get going after Christmas and have two black dominas, one low rider, one kush and one diesal just put to 12/12 about a week ago. All from seeds and all females. Dunno why, but in ten years growing, have had only two males show up. I do not use feminized seeds but think it must be my conditions or maybe just alot of estrogen bouncing off my walls, but seem to get a high ratio of females vs males. Friends who buy the high end save me seeds to play with over the winter and have a diesal and white widow mama for clones. I have a little "gardening" club and between the three of us, always have a supply of clones when needed. Don't grom except fall into February as it is personal use only. My friends love it as I refuse to sell any, but they looooove their christmas presents. A jar of homemade salsa, pepper relish, marinara sauce, bread and butter hot peppers, peach jam, raspberry jam and a fabulous variety of fresh dried "herbs". I believe that if I share, I will continue to have prosperous grows. So far this has been true, especially with the last round of widows.
Almost forgot....no, will not marry you, but always enjoy befriending ;-)a fellow ww grower. She is my personal favorite.

Seriously, My top colas get as big as your pics, but I never get the frosting I see on yours.

Must be a different phenotype.

Enjoy it!
