Are the Dem's doomed in 2020?

Unfortunately, I think so

The results are basically in from that inept State of Iowa showing that Buttigieg won & Sanders 2nd in line.

This is what the DNC is going to present to the American voter, a gay former mayor from a town in bum fuck Indiana & a decrepit old Communist fart from New Hampshire?

Jesus, Mary & Joseph, we're fucked.

I told you Iowa would fuck it all up, and they surpassed my wildest expectations.

So, what to do now?

Personally, I'm thinking about going back to my old cure all's, a bottle of Jameson & a bag of China White, because there seemingly is no hope left.

Oh well, maybe the Dem's will get their shit together someday, but I really do doubt it, not in my lifetime at least

Fucking sad.

Don't lose hope.

Hell look how Trump won in 2016.
Nobody really liked him when he got the GOP nomination. All my magat family members could say was "Yeah he's a piece of shit but he's still better than Hillary".

Face it - no democratic candidate will be a superstar.
But I bet they'll be good enough to beat the orange turd.

A lot can happen between now and then. But anus at 49% approval?? Drug experimentation sounds like a plan.

There is no hope left in the political situation in America today.
The Senate today will acquit the POTUS of orchestrating a devious plan designed to affect, again, the election of the highest office in this country.
So what are the standards left after Trump, who has personally presented to the youth of America, that lying, cheating, deceiving is the way too go if you want to succeed?
But Mommy & Daddy, Trump does it why can't I?
That is reality

Trump is too dumb to be the antichrist.
The people pulling his strings are truly evil.

I'm loving this campaign. Democrats broke the mould (and I do mean mould) in Iowa, giving the nod to a mid-30's man whose message is about unity instead of division.

The failure of an app doesn't mean Trump will win. I don't understand the weak whining coming from some folks about this. Republican desperation is reflected in their joy of a day or so delay in posting results. That is true weakness.

Dean scream.

seriously, I never understood the hysteria over that too.

Dems just need an Oprah to get in race and all worries are over. But I agree that the current candidates will not get it done.

I am still at this point going to vote for Biden. But Mayor Pete winning Iowa actually gives me a little more hope than I thought it would. As much as I want experience and a non-trollable candidate, he is clearly the smartest & best equipped to take the fight to Trump on every level (now that Harris is no longer in it).

If Pete wins the nomination I will be very happy to vote for him.

Still waiting for that prediction of yours about prosecutions for spying and deep state treachery to come to fruition.

Liars lie. bugs

So, how is the coffee in the Orion cluster?
Well we'll just have to start a thread one of these days on the Durham investigation. Bless your heart for reminding me.

Coffee in the Orion cluster? Sorry brother, I've never had the experience of astral travel in this lifetime. Have a great day!

Suck it up, homophobe

You can read this quote from Buttigieg and weep:

“It validates for the kid, somewhere in the community, wondering if he belongs, where she belongs ... that if you believe in yourself and your country, there’s a lot backing up that belief.”

Buttigieg is running on the message of unity and caring for each other. The same people who oppose gay marriage and abortion voted for Trump, no way they will vote for Biden. Their day is nearly done. I'm for somebody the country can unify around, which means eff Sanders too. Biden is far from done yet and he's not bad. Still though your post reeks of the same shit that was just rejected in Iowa. Try to be a bit more open minded to the changes that are going on in this country.

I'm not sad. Not one bit.

I think the democrats have fallen into a trap of having so many purity tests that the big tent is now shrinking. Example, can a pro-life democrat feel welcome in their party?

I avoid the half time show but I just might watch it now. I'm sorry to hear that a right wing father leaves the raising of his son to television. There is a lot of violence at football games. What the world needs now is less of that and more of the love that was shown to the performers by their audience.
