Homemade cal mag How much ?how strong?

I’m not sure. The algorithm is tuned for a mix of mono-and divalent ions. I would approximate bu dividing by 3. Then there is a correction factor for the molecular weight of your ion.
I don’t know how to do that bit. My area is organic synthesis ... different skill set,
Is this where the milliequivalent comes into play, taking the molecular weight and number of charges to figure out ratio of acetic acid to calcium?

I think if you weighed the egg shells before and after vinegar reaction and multiplied by the 40% ratio of calcium in the egg shell this would give you the amount of dissolved calcium in end solution and the resulting ppm. Something like 100 grams of egg shell go in, 20 grams left over, so 80 grams go into solution, multiply by .40 so 32 grams of calcium in solution. If you have 968 grams of vinegar then you have a 32g/(968+32)x100= 3.2% solution of calcium. This equates to 3.2 x 10,000 to get ppm = 32,000 ppm. Does this seem logical @cannabineer?

It won’t get that strong if you use the usual 5% vinegar. A liter is fifty grams (5/6 of a mole) of acetic acid. That can ideally dissolve 5/12 of a mole of calcium carbonate for a final Ca dose of 16.7 grams = 1.67% Ca.

That was just an example, the end weights would tell you the resulting ppm which would look like it would be at or below the 1.67%

Today I made my first organic cal mag With the eggs vinegar The whole shebang my question is how do you determine the dosage ? And How strong it is ?don’t wanna mess up my plants Didn’t really read much about how much to feed on anybody done it before ? Any pointers appreciate it
Don't know where the "mag" is coming from, but water soluble calcium should be applied as a foliar spray during flowering stage, not to the soil.

3/4 teaspoon/gallon is the solution mix.
