Will seeds from hermie plant be feminized?

Female plant was grown outdoors and buds had shit tons of beans but smoke was still very terpy and stoney. If i grow plants with perfect conditions and no stress will the seeds have a chance of growing into healthy females with no seeds? Or will some of the bud have seeds no matter what?? Im paranoid in the last weeks of flower im gonna have a unwelcomed surprise. Ive read so much mixed information about genetics and the hermies that im paranoid to waste nutes and soil on a 100 seedlings. Has anyone germinated 100s of seeds they found in a bud and had good success with not having seeds pop up at the end of flower?

johndoe12345678 I too had my purple punch clones give me some seeds not to many say about 45 seeds.
I know for a fact that my situation was stress about the first week of pre flower. But my question is if because of being hermi because of stressed will the seeds produced also be hermi????

im still running beans that I found in seeded bud and so far 45ish days into veg from germ all i can find are female preflowers no hermie pistil formations or balls. Since it seems plant must have self pollinated and created feminized seed. Whats the percentage of the plants that will make it through flower without seeding itself?

Thanks for your question johndoe12345678, I think that 45 days into veg is a little to early to tell . I grow in a greenhouse so I let my ladies veg longer ,but the percentage was about half of a total of seventy four plants. I don't know the answer as to will the seeds be hermi just yet ,as the seeds that I kept are seedlings right now about three weeks old . what I am doing is growing that strain of purple punch again to see if I get hermis again . the smoke from these plants was fire so its a good strain that I would like to keep, just think I messed up some how . will know very soon!!!

GG4 bag seed.. had 1 seed in sack..came out female..in veg for 9 weeks.. smoke had that chocolate taste and fire.. I’ve since taking clones and about to flip her.. also she’s a sativa leaner.. easy to grow.. just grows to damn fast!!!2FFA8392-E4B2-455D-8C3E-E0AB95F7812F.jpeg827EFB21-F712-491D-B12D-F6CA4DDCAF37.jpegDDC94153-32A5-4BC3-97FF-783221559535.jpeg

Hi johndoe12345678 yes after I dried and cured it. the thing about this grow is you couldn't see any sacks of pollen the seed where in the buds.so when it was ready to smoke is when the seeds appeared. that is why I am doing another grow using these beans to see if they will hermi on their own.or be female all the way remember these were clones taken from a feminized mother that never gave ne any seeds before .

Short Answer... YES! You definitely have a chance and you have a excellent chance if you're careful.

It's too early to even say anything for sure about sex. You may not see males til well into floweriing. If MOST are showing female preflowers, odds are pretty good they're feminized seeds. But don't make assumptions yet.

If they ARE feminized seeds from outdoor bud, you can only make guesses about where the female pollen came from. It may have been...
(1) Pollen it dumped on itself. ( s1s or "selfed" seeds)
(2) Pollen blown over from an identical clone growing next to it. (these seeds would be s1s like case 1)
(3) Pollen blown over from a SISTER in the same garden.
(4) Pollen blown over from a different strain in the same garden. (the mother plant itself may have NO herm tendency)
(5) Rogue pollen blown in or brought by bees from somewhere nearby ( possible but unlikely)

Wherever that pollen came from, the mother doesn't care and just tries to grow plump happy babies if conditions are good. From there, the risk of having hermies mostly lies in the genetic tendencies of its parents and ancestors. If you have a fem seed, at least one parent was clearly CAPABLE of producing pollen, but you don't know if it was created it under high stress (naturally or chemically) or if she was just a bitchy girl who made pollen even when everything was perfect. You may not want seeds from a bitchy girl... you'll get pain in the ass daughters. But if the female was driven to pollinating by "cruel treatment", they can turn out to be very reliable herm-free seeds when grown happily. That's how a breeder makes fem seeds intentionally (and then TESTS WELL if they have any scruples).

So it's hard to evaluate the risk if you don't know these things. The biggest question is... are you going to be able inspect your plants well enough to prevent a stray ball or banana from lingering around long enough to open up? If nothing opens up, you'll get zero seeds on everything. If one single banana opens up on ANY of the plants in the room, you will get seeds on ALL plants in the room.

But in the world of cannabis, the gassy strains tend to be those super hot girls who can be trouble on a bad day but are REALLY fun most of the time. How much minor bitchiness are you willing to tolerate for that hottie and can you survive the BAD days?

Very well put Nutbag poster, in my case I am going to do another grow, wait an see what results .

Another thing. I'm not sure about this, but I'd consider a true male ball to be more of a sign of a genetic flaw. Bananas can pop up pretty easily with minor stresses, depending on how sensitive the plant is.

If you KNOW that the pollen for fem seeds came from a full male ball, I'd probably feed them to the birds. There's a good risk that trait will carry on to many (not necessarily 70% ?? ) of the offspring. But I'd imagine that a large majority of bag seeds come from a banana when one girl got in a little temporary "mood".

Nutbag poster I think you might be on to something there. I will have to keep a sharp eye on this grow. do agree with the sensitivity issue.

Thanks for the elaborate answer it definitely gave me a lot of insight on my concerns.

Since she reeks in veg i assume she is gonna be a super hot pain in the ass. Hopefully I can guide her thru her journey without to many hiccups. Thanks again for the info.
