You may wish to read this entire thread. If you follow the instructions you'll be surprised how well it works. As for environmental conditions, I grow in 10% relative humidity. I still got nailed with it on a flower table I could not afford to lose. Regalia saved my ass. I wish you well in this struggle. It is unpleasant.

Well, an update on the Regalia...it is NOT controlling the pm in my plants in flower, at all...In fact, it is now spreading like wildfire. The past 2 nights i have been cutting infected fan leaves off, and some lower buds that were affected. But from what I understand, Regalia is more of a preventative treatment.

Here's an excellent article that has lots of great info, including some reasons why NOT to use some of the old treatments, like neem oil.

I have GH Armor Si on hand, and see that can be used as a foliar spray...It has silica and potassium. Going to hit them with that today, and I have ordered Potasium Bicarbonate , which also is supposed to work great for knocking pm back or eliminating it in many cases, and it's cheap.

Has anyone successfully gotten rid of powdery mildew for good . If so how?

I'm in mid flower stage just using a mild milk and water solution to maintain , but spraying anything on your plants that heavy will always impact them in a negative way somehow.

Yesterday I tried the heat method. Can confirm does not work! I heated my 1 tent to 109 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 hours . all it did was stress them out and the powdery mildew all over my plants is as happy as it was before.

I'm growing ethos seeds chem OG. And it seems to be I'm number one candidate for powdery mildew. I love the strain, great yielder and overall amazing but seems to be a very leafy plant and a great host for powdery mildew.

can anyone give me any suggestions???

I had it once when humidity was too high. I thought it looked like resin at first. A sulpher based fungicide is what I used to successfully this eradicate this menace.

In my many years, I have had PM twice. I didn't properly learn my lesson the first time but believe I have now.
You have to purge. If a crop is close to the end, strip the bigger leaves, spray with H2O2 a couple times and harvest as soon as you can. Dispose of all soil. If a crop is young has shown signs of PM, get rid of it, start again, it will return if you don't. I think once a plant has had PM, it can then host it. You can't keep those around.
If you have plants that have not shown it and you want/need to keep, I have had very good success with a spray of 29% H2O2, mixed at 25mls per Litre. Every couple days, nice and clean, doesn't hurt the plants. Doesn't eradicate it but keeps plants from getting it until you purge any hosts out. Good to soak a plant down that has a lot of it before you start stripping the fan leaves and sending the spores out.
I've tried a multitude of products that don't work that well anyway. Some don't seem to work at all.
Powdery Mildew and spider mites are the two things to avoid at all costs where I'm from.

Airflow and not a fan. If you don’t pull in new air and blow out old this happens and it’s not the strain.

Good advice from many here... I'd suggest you wash them as well... pretty gross if you don't.

Thrips can be a real pain in hot enviroments as they breed very fast.

Botaniguard22wp, Grandevo, PFR90, venerate are all good against thrips.

also neem will interrupt their breeding and molting between applications

Orius, Ahteta, Hypoapsis Miles are beneficial bugs that will eat them.

good knock downs chemicals are pyganic, spinosad

It got me through to harvest with a horribly infected table and the harvest was clean. I sprayed it 2 oz/gallon and used it as a root drench. Now my humidity runs under 20% at the highest and more around 10% but it was very effective for me. I'm sorry to hear it's not working for you. @Tangerine_ @Samwell Seed Well any ideas?

I ordered a gallon, I read it does not remove existing powder mildew it prevents it from starting

PM is not one organism(mea ing it can be multiple infections that all need to be treated). Often it can be multiples colonies of this infection. Id use nukem or an acidic cleaner like xerotol or sanidate between sprays to clean up outbreaks. Hell lemon juice...m-pede...sufoil x....even neem will coat the leaf and inhibit growth or the blooms of PM

While treating PM you will see the infection trying to spread.

Clean clean clean and remain active.

Adding moisture will aide in trasnmission. So make sure to time application to limit humidty and not so much that you actually aid in transmission.(like right before lights on, dim lights, use a dehumidifeir immediately after..yadda yadda)

Yeah, I was shocked when I got it. I grow in the Mojave Desert so my humidity runs around 10%. I keep my grows clean, don't allow standing water, large air exchange and movement and use either Ca or Na hypochlorite etc... to disinfect. It was just that one strain. I got it in seed form. Anyway Regalia knocked it out in three treatments without issue.

One more week to go for my girls in flower, and they are doing pretty well....The PM is well under control now...I used a multitude of products, and I'm sure the Regalia did help strengthen them...Another product that really seemed to help is Armor Si by GH that has potassium silicate I believe, and it also really seemed to help strengthen them. Like i said though, I have used a multitude of products and feel like i have learned a lot.

I could not however, help my girls in veg...I actually tossed them today. I'm not even sure what was wrong with them, but it was probably the PM weakening them, causing blight like leaf damage, no growth, etc. Figured best to just ditch em!! I have some seeds started in a different location so it'll be back to square one...ugh! But new strains, yea (i hope).

Gong to fire up my aeroponic setup to speed up the progress a little, after I harvest and do some serious cleaning and disinfecting...again! But thanks to you I will have a good IPM program in place and will hopefully not have to suffer these consequences again.

I've never had very good luck with the copper fungicides.
Last summer I alternated between Regalia, Cease, and Actinovate. I did my best to time the treatments between rainfall. Between that and keeping the leaf tissue healthy (high brix and rich soil) I only lost an ounce or two. I did have a few tops get hit with budworms.

For outdoor, I cant say how effective the treatments were as it was the first time I've used those products together, but I'll be doing the same again this year. Honestly though, Dak, I think a big piece to keeping pathogens in check is the calcium uptake and giving the plants more than one available form. It seems to take a multi-system approach and then, trying to work with mother nature. Inside, I had a lot more control.
