Need more light?!$??? New 10x10 veg and auto room.?!?

Finally got my 10x10 Gorilla set up, that's no joke by yourself. :wall: :dunce:

I set up the Kind in back corner thinking of getting a couple of these to finish out my 20 hr room.


Thoughts? Suggestions?

I'm running soil only at this point, I'm liking it have a bit of a learning curve but I like it so far. Like from clone was is most common transplant schedule? Ive start in solos then 1 then 5- 7 to flower. I grow all my autos in 5 phat sacks

I have also put up a 10x10 alone, yeah.. not fun.
you would want 4 of those at least which would still put you on the low end of desired total wattage if you plan to use the whole tent. You want somewhere in the neighborhood of 2500-3000w minimum if your going to go wall to wall in there. 4 of those would do well if you centralize everything into more of an 8x8 space inside the tent.
I ran 1300w of 561c diodes over my whole 10x10 just to see how theyd do. Had some nice top buds, but if I wouldnt have trained them I wouldnt have got much from it. It was about half as much as I really needed.

I run a 6-8 week total veg depending on how im feeling with the first 3 spent in the cloner. Im hydro tho so its a little different and I can leave them in there no problem.

Its going to be a 20 hr veg and auto tent only so aside from autos keep a rotation going into 15x15 12 hr flower room I'm hoping to add 3 more when funds allow. I missed a killer deal on some Next light megas I'm cheap hate spending money if I can save a few bucks.

Be interesting to see exactly what area one will cover with the 20hour autos.
Been you have the longer hours giving higher DLI.

Sorry, I cant tell what you're asking.

My plan is to keep 4-5 autos under the 1000 Kind and cycle plants in and out into flower room. I don't have the money currently to add anymore light but when I do Ill add a 2-3 of the light in link above. I keep this tent on 20 hours to veg my photo plants and for the autos. I've had good luck with the few autos I've grown so far. OG kush and Amnesia haze are very well liked. The plants in the pic are white widow and royal gorilla autos

Sorry dude, what I was saying without saying it was the 550s cover 4x4 -4.5x4.5 in flower and a bigger area in veg, so it will be interesting to see how bigger area they cover successfully with autos since the autos are getting the daily light integral filled by longer hours of less dense photons rather than a more intense light for shorter periods. It should in theory have the same end result but over more space.

Its not something ive ever thought about before or seen experimentation on.

Gotcha the autos will primarily be under the Kind, they appear to light it so far, once I start seeing buds I'll turn the red all the way up. Its all an experiment
