@Cannademik
I'm back to Coco this time. The last 2 rounds were with living soil but I'm back to what I'm more comfortable with.
All of the seeds were not started at the same time so their ages are all over the place. They all went into 12/12 at the same time though.
The largest ones were maybe 10 to 12" tall but most of them were between 3 and 6 inches tall.

@Stickyjones
Blue Planet Nutrients. I've been using this for many years now with hydro.

@Hot Diggity Sog looks like they treat you well. Use the 3 part? Any additives?
I use the 3 part plus the bloom boosters, Vita Blue and dry sea weed. I've never really been a user of silica but I should invest the time and research that. I only use the Vita Blue until maybe 45 or 50 days of 12/12. For calmag, I've always used CaliMagic from GH but I ran out early on and happened to have an unopened bottle of the CalMag from Blue Planet so I started using that. And I like it much better. I have a much easier time dialing in the right amount without too much nitrogen which was a constant battle for me with CaliMagic.

I don't follow the feed charts - they are way too strong. But I stick pretty close to the ratios and will deviate only when the plants tell me to.

Thanks for the input, ive been thinking about playing around with hydro a little bit in the form of hempy buckets and or dwc buckets, prolly try a couple out next run to see how it goes..

Sweet! I love DWC, RDWC but it's very impractical when half of the plants will be male. Great for fem seeds or clones. Feel free to hit me up anytime with questions. Have you seen my RDWC work before?

I'll just share 2 pics and then link to the journal area where they live. They are both very well documented from start to finish.
I still get goose bumps looking at these. RDWC is my favorite, by far!

Damnn, i will have to start reading up. The big one looks insane.. how come you got away from it?
A bunch of reasons I guess. If I do the same thing over and over, I can get a little bored. Trying new things gives me the opportunity to keep learning. Once I started working with Quantum Boards, the octagon seemed a bit irrelevant, although I'm thinking about that again and have some neat ideas...but more on that later. And then the biggest reason was probably because I wanted to start trying as many different genetics as possible in the quickest amount of time. This will be my last round of doing that. When I resume later this summer, I will be very focused and will be growing one or two varieties at a time pheno hunting and taking clones and probably creating S1's.

I'm currently setting up my first grow, and am going back and forth between coco and rdwc. All the great threads on here make it tough to decide which direction to go, luckily there's plenty of awesome growers like you to learn from on here. Thanks so much for documenting your work on here, it's awesome to see what's possible with enough dedication, work, and ingenuity!

Thats a great reason and its cool youve had a chance to try all diffetent styles and figure which ones suite you best besfore choosing some good moms to run with.. the octogon is nuts but i could see where its not really designed for a flat light.. I cant wait to see what you search through and what great phenos you decide on..

Chapter 8: Day 65 of 12/12
Wasn't planning on an update tonight but I'm trying to figure out when to harvest the first two Herer Hashplant's.
I think I've decided to let them go just a few more days.

HHP #3 - This one starting flowering ! 2 weeks after the 1st two so she has a ways to go. But this shows how early the massive trich
development begins.

And finally, the one Strawberry Goji that I have. I think she is going to end up surprising us :)

Day 60 of 12/12

I love every aspect of growing but I especially love day 60 to the end. The *magic* doesn't start to happen until day 60!
No specific plants tonight - just some group shots mostly and I'm sharing all of them across two posts.

They look really great for being such short plants. I can't believe how big they are. :)

Day 66 of 12/12 Update
(I posted this update, almost verbatim, in the Bodhi thread).
I'm double posting here just so it is not lost, for my sake.

I had planned on chopping 2 of the 4 Herer Hashplants this morning but I did not. I think I can give them just a bit longer. One of two is drinking literally no water at all.

I shot 3 of the 4 Herer Hashplants tonight. The last one is pretty much a dud and not even worth showing. Of the 3, 2 are basically ready but the 3rd was really slow...it was my fault...had some problematic salty coco. That one is ~ 14 days behind but I want to show her because it shows just how insanely frosty these get and how early it comes on. This 3rd one also represents a much better plant structure (debatable).

Chapter 8: Day 67 of 12/12
The 1st two Herer Hashplants came down this morning. Here they are hanging:
HHP1.jpg
HHP2.jpg

The first Super Silver Hashplant x Cobra Lips cross I made is coming down tomorrow morning. She's an outlier looking like none of the others. Very frosty, almost on par with the Herer Hashplant. Irregular flower formation and, overall, a bit sub-par.
SSH x Cobra 1A.jpg
SSH x Cobra 1B.jpg

Another Super Silver Hashplant x Cobra Lips.
This one is very pretty and a solid showing. She's going to need maybe 7 more days or so.
SSH x Cobra 2.jpg

Here is the 3rd Super Silver Hashplant x Cobra Lips from tonight's shoot. She has really bulked up and, to my surprise, is among the fattest top cola's. She's still got a lot of work to do and no ETA on her.
SSH x Cobra 3.jpg

Strawberry Goji - the slow and steady plant in the bunch. She smells of strawberry funk and seems to always be teetering on the edge of either being hungry, getting too much light, or possibly being overfed. She's a bit finicky but otherwise looking pretty descent. I sure wish she would frost up some...
Strawberry Goji.jpg

Forest Queen x Cobra Lips - another fem seed cross of mine. This is pretty much the picture perfect small plant. Beautiful in every way.
Forest Queen x Cobra Lips.jpg

And finally, one group shot just for perspective.
