Is this plant close to harvest?

Sorry for quality of the pics, these were the best I can get. This is my first grow and I noticed that the trichomes on my plants are beginning to turn amber colored.

I wanted to make sure that this isn’t some sort of sickness before I start flushing and getting ready for harvest.

This particular plant has also only been in flower since Early January (about Jan 6th) I know that time doesn’t really indicate if a plant is ready but I’d like to know someone else’s input.

thanks in advance!

You're golden! Amber trichomes are the couch lock body high. Thats not a illness at all.

It doesn't matter if you see some amber trichomes on the sugar leaf. And even with that purple haze from the light it's obvious from the second picture that you have several weeks left. You really should take pictures with that purple light turned off.

Yeah, you have a couple weeks left. But the trichomes are naturally gonna turn amber the longer it flowers.

Should I be payed closer attention to the actual bud sites themselves? It seems like with hairs that white it wasn’t nearing ready, which was my initial thoughts. This particular grow is kind of a co op initiative and my second is dead set on them being ready. I say no way, but decided on getting outside comment anyway.

Yes, because youll most likely trim off the leaves that have amber but still cloudy and clear on the bud site you actually smoke. My current female is still throwing out new pistils and i switched to 12-12 light on jan 8th.
