I’ve always wet trimmed too venus but as of late I’ve been a bit lazy and remove all the big and medium fans then hang the branches upside down and the smaller sugar leaves form around the buds, once dry I have a look and wizz over them with the scissors, removing any excess leaf.
I’ve found trimming this way much faster and less monotonous.
That’s pretty much exactly how I do it. Then I hang them and when they’re dry to touch on the outside I put them into paper bags for another probably 48hrs and from there into jars that I burp for a couple of hours everyday for like a week then the jars stay shut til I need to open them.

The good old wet vs dry trim debate. Last time i had a crack at growin i ended hangin the whole plant upside down then trimmed after.. Wasn much fun cleanin them up. Reckon ill knok them into branches this time n remove larger fan leaves then finish off once dry
Wet trim hands down. Only way to do it. Couldn’t give a shit if there’s some science behind it wet trim for smell and also for ease.

Thats how i do it in summer. In winter i break them down a little more. Its all about trying to get a long dry and how much you do or dont break them down and how much green material you leave on helps control that. Dry trimming is faster so thats a bonus plus when trimming over a screen its instant gold.

Then why did you change your usual MO this time?

I had to chop a branch from one of my plants the other day & forgot to get rid of the fan leaves first. D'oh!!
fan leaf will protect the trichs from light degradation and being knocked about and will extent the dry time- so not all bad.
