So I'v been bitchin the last couple of days because I haven't been able to get any green. My main dude that i get it from has been dry for a few days now(something i never thought would happen lol) and I'v been trying to call other people who i know smoke and people I'v smoked with in the past to see if they know where the buds at, but it seems to me like no one I'v called has any sympathy for me. I mean i know we have all been in this depressing situation before and my question to everyone else is, if you know where to get any green and some one calls you askin for some do you make a few calls or do you blow them off? Do they have to be a good friend for you to help or can they be an occasional smoking buddy? Just curious to see what my fellow stoners think.

Thats what I'm sayin man! I think weed smokers should stick together. I'm pretty passionate about that little plant so i try and do everything i can to share the wealth lol.

When a bruh call me asking for smoke they are usually looking for a specific strain, and yes I would make that phone call quick.

If I can hook someone up, I will, if neccessary I'll go get it but if I go get it and they don't show appreciation, than I won't do it again. I think that if I get someone a bag (Or vise versa) a good payment is gas money and get me high.

I hate when you call people you've bent over backwards for to help them out.. rather it br with weed or just life shit in general.. like they have no food and their kid's are hungry, so you go buy 'em 200 dollars worth of food.. you ask 'em if they know anything, you hear people hackin up in the background but they still tell you no...

haha.. thats why I started growing, so I can answer the phone with two lung fulls and say naw, aint heard shit...

I don't have ANY casual smoking buddies. Anyone who knows I smoke I trust with my life!!! Because in reality, I am.
That being said, yeah we will hook up our close friends. If they call and I have some they can always come over & smoke, and generally leave with a bud or 2 free. If I don't have any, I'll make a few calls for them. By the same token, they do reciprocate.
If I find them some bud by phone, I will go get it. They don't need to know where it came from. Not even my wife knows where I get mine when I do buy. There is no need for her to know anything other than I got it. Not that I don't trust her, there is just no need to know. And my connection really appreciates the confidentiality.
The harvest from my first grow gave us just shy of a QP around the end of Aug, first of Sept. It's been really fucking dry around here for a couple months now, and now the wife and I are out of smoke. I know for a fact we smoked with, or gave out at least 3 oz to friends and family. Thank god I found some good.

Thats cool. I sincerely hope that works out for ya. Sometimes I wish I could do that, but I'm suspicious by nature. I just don't have that knack to know in my mind whether someones "law related" or not. I have the few friends that I let know about me, but even then I'm not 100% sure that they won't give me up if they were to get busted, so only a select few of them know I grow. It's all based on the "Need to know" doctrine. One of my best friends is now in prison. He got narc'ed out by a guy we went to kindergarten with. Cops caught the dude with a gram of powder, and he gave the cops my buddies pot smuggling op.
The fuckers got me once, and I was very careful. Now, I am SUPER CAREFUL. I have developed a real aversion to incarceration.
I only let those whom I would trust with my life know, because when it comes down to it, I am.
