will Biden overtake Bernie for the popular vote and delegate lead tonight?

It is a fact that instead of what Sanders cult claims, Sanders' campaign actively courted super delegates ahead of the convention in the attempt to subvert the popular vote from the Democratic Party's 2016 primary. I am not going to spoon feed that easily available information to you -- look it up.

As a consequence of false claims that super delegates affected the 2016 Democratic Party primary, party leaders, including Bernie came together to make rules changes.

In 2020, super delegates do not vote in the first round. In order to ensure he wins without further challenges, Bernie has to win a majority of the popular vote in enough states to gain more than 1991 bound delegates. Bernie had five years to make his case and all he did was tear at the Democratic Party. Instead of building bridges, he tore at other people's attempts to reach out. He could have chosen to court votes from people who didn't vote for him in 2016. Instead he insulted their intelligence by telling them how badly they chose when they voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012. He's reaping what he sowed by doing worse this time around.

Your answer? Damn the Democratic Party, damn the need to win hearts and minds of Democratic Party voters. Re-make the rules mid-way though the primary and give the nomination to the one I want. Gimmee freeee stuff.

How very Trumpian of you and other Sanders cultists.

Buckle up buckie
I prefer Warren. Her policy positions are similar to Bernie's. That's not my beef with Bernie and his bros. Warren said it best (as she usually does) when she talked about Sanders at her concession speech yesterday when she was drubbed by just about every other Democratic candidate except Tulsi Gabbard and her dog.

“This crisis demands more than a senator who has good ideas, but whose 30-year track record shows he consistently calls for things he fails to get done, and consistently opposes things he nevertheless fails to stop,” Warren said in her toughest assessment of the Vermont senator during a speech in Houston Saturday night.

It's not unreasonable for her to change her supportive stance for Bernie. Bernie is moving in for the kill on her campaign by going after her in her home state. Bernie, ever the divider, has bitten every hand that was ever held out in support for him.

Of course they're gonna put up Biden as nominee. I called that as soon as he announced. Most status quo option. Probably a good thing though, if we actually want a shot at getting tRamp in prison in the next year or two...

Liz should have run in 2016. That might have spared us Sanders.

Disrupters are so hot right now.

Bernie is not a Democrat. Why would Democrats want a candidate who is not a Democrat -- and has only ever run against Democrats -- to represent Democrats in the fall?

Is this where you resort to the deus ex machina argument? As if cynicism is ever an answer?

It is your right to vote for him. I don't know why Democrats would vote for a Republican to head their ticket in the fall. I understand why Republicans who don't like Trump might. They seem to be the ones who are most supportive of Bloomberg. Never Trumpers have a right to love too. So nice of Democrats to give Never Trumpers a place in our diverse coalition.

I'm not voting for a Billionaire. We've already had one too many of those as Prez
