Next thing, check there are no extension cables with LEDs on, tin foil over them if there are.
Check your timer isn't faulty, go in there every 15 min in both light and dark period and make sure its on when it should be and off when it should be.
Use cold water from the tap and let it come to room temp, not hot water cooling down.
Get a bigger extraction fan, that 4" S+P is probably up to the challenge of pulling through the filter

All cables are outside but I did tape the blue LED on my oscillating fan when I had that in a DR240. I had a digital timer which was coming on at random times so purchased an analogue one to stop that.
I use cold water from the tap, let it stand until room temp then feed.
I have a 5" S&P which I will look to use as I felt the 4' couldn't move enough air out even though it was only a 1m x 1m tent.
Even when the outside room temp was low the temps always got up to 34c, I believe the 600w HPS is hot no matter what, in summer it reached 38c on hot days.

I used to run 3 x 600w hps in a 4x8 with an 8" fan and unless there was a heat wave I never had to turn it past 2nd speed of 3.
The bottom line is if the ambient air temp is lower than ideal temp then its just a matter of how much cfm you need to stay X degrees above ambient.
There are a lot of fans on the market that on paper look good and sound quiet but some of them shit a brick with the slightest impedance, some can lose 75% of the cfm with a meter of duct and a filter.
Its always going to be less work on the fan if the filter is bigger. I highly recommend getting a fan, you can pick up a second hand ruck on ebay pretty cheap.
I thought you had said what your ambient temp was, but cant seem to see it now. If you tell me the air temp of the room the tents in on a night without lighting on I can tell you how many cfm you need to stay in a better range.
For sure the bigger fan will help, as long as your not venting back into the room which recycles the air and gets warmer each pass through the tent.So you think the weak fan allowing the temps to rise could be the factor? I have a 5" S&P fan which is powerful and would do s better job than the 4".
Ambient air temp outside room was 16c when tent off up to 19c when tent on. No matter how many fans running or windows open, it always went up above 30c when tent on.
I have taken the tent to the dump so no longer running it, if I start again I will use the room itself which is 3.3m x 3m.. not sure how much cfm/size fan I would need for that but it would have 1kw of HPS running via a 600w and a 400w unit.
No way that would happen to half decent genetics. Good genetics are hard to hermie.Make sure water isnt to cold shoot for like 68 if u cant test the temp or havent you def should or get aquarium heater. Even 1 watering to cold can make plants throw balls cause they think they dying.

No it woul only seed the crop a bit. Left over pollen doesnt form sacs or nanners just seeds.Does one hermied crop often lead too future hermied crops if the room was not cleaned out well in between crops? Maybe that was your problem? I'm interested

Are you using feminized seeds?I have close to a 100% germination ratio and almost up to 80 strains I have worked with. It seems in recent times regardless of how well they are treated, they all hermie!
