Day 55 of flower leaves have slowly started to yellow, is this time to flush and go for the fade... Or shall I keep feeding? Is it very close to week 8 .. so 2 week flush ? What's your thoughts ?

Thankyou much appreciated. Those girls look nice!
I would just taper off the feeding and give plain water weeks 9-10-11 until harvest.
Great work!
Those are nowhere near ready, at least 3-4 weeks before harvest.
It is only a 9-11 week strain, I'm in week 8 and the calxys are swollen, so surely 2 weeks and they would be ripe? After 5 days off darkness too..
Since you've been growing so long, may I ask, how long after you see the last pistol turn red is time to harvest for you? Just wondering.Ignore the “9-11week strain”. You have a different grow environment then the breeder did. Your plant 100% has 4+ weeks left. The stigma are all still completely white which means the plant is still actively growing new bud for you. AFTER they turn reddish and shrink THEN the bracts will swell. Yours have not awoken yet they are just growing. The swell takes 1-3 weeks. During that time the plant will significantly increase in density and weight. It will also ripen which means AFTeR the swell is when you should be checking trichomes to decide your finish time.
If you are going to flush you would want to wait until during or after the swell to do that. Personally after 15 years of growing and doing multiple side by sides I don’t flush, it doesn’t do anything for the plant.

What strain?View attachment 4498136View attachment 4498137Week 4, don’t think this 150watt will make them any bigger
So you're saying people are cutting 2-3 weeks prematurely normally? That depends on the plant not a calendar. I don’t count weeks any more. Usually most plants need 2-3 weeks after the stigma have turned though. They need that time to finish swelling up internally even though they don’t look like they are growing much on the outside.
What strain?
Thanks thundercat for your input ! I have just checked my ph pen and its 1.0 out so I have actually been feeding at 7.2 not 6.2 this could explain the yellowing... I am going to continue feeding for another couple of weeks! Thanks againIgnore the “9-11week strain”. You have a different grow environment then the breeder did. Your plant 100% has 4+ weeks left. Quick question thundercat.. does flushing cause the plant to change colour? Because that's what I want to achieve "the fade" or is this a total myth? Peaceeee broIgnore the “9-11week strain”. "...it doesn’t do anything for the plant" - Yes it does. It makes it all brown and yellow and decrepit looking. Other than that, everything you said I agree with 100%Ignore the “9-11week strain”. I would say everyone of my 4 grows I have harvested early... I am making sure this one goes right till the end, I really want the density to come through and fully ripenYep I’m saying that most new growers, most commercial growers and even some veteran hobby growers are regularly chopping that early.
I did it when I was younger and didn’t know any better. The info that is out there really isn’t easy for a new grower to interpret. Until they actually understand the plant and can read the signs it’s giving they don’t even know they are chopping too early most of the time. Then when I or someone else explains how the maturation process goes and they actually wait the extra weeks and realize they were barely getting high from the other stuff usually they appreciate the knowledge. New growers especially are afraid of “degrading” and ruining the buds. But they don’t realize how long it actually takes for that to happen.
