Whats Going On Everyone?

Im a first year university student and I just started my first grow 10 Days a go. I popped 3/5 seeds, but my kitten ate 2! IM PISSED AND BROKE. But whatever, the last and only seedling I have experienced a little shock when the pot fell over, but ever since its growing has severely slowed. I just planted 5 new seeds to make up for my mistakes, however, is there a problem with my seedling. I have ph, temp, RH% all under control as well as air flow... I've followed all the steps, but I feel like maybe I got a shit phenotype, because it was the last seed to pop.

It looks healthy,But I HAVE NO visual growth in last 3 days? is that a problem ?

If you've got everything in tune and the plant looks healthy, it could just be a slow starter maybe, just give it some time it'll show you when it has a problem, any photos ?

When I did my first year uni level chem program I was 33 and had already grown a few dozen pot plants by then.

Detail man! You'll learn that at school but we need a lot more detail to help you with this. Kittens in your grow space? WTF! lol

No animals ever near the plants! They carry bugs like mites that will screw your grow bad.

A pic or two would help along with info about soil, light, water, watering technique and all sort of other things will help me help you.

Love my kitties too but they don't ever get access to my grow rooms.

Not liking how your soil looks. Have you got lots of drain holes in those party cups? What do you feed them?

I do my soil fox farms oceans forests mushroom compost worms casting and yes plenty drainage I have a habit to fill my ceiling cups on the top with compost when they stretch

Sounds like it should be good to grow so something else may be causing slow growth.

I'm not saying this is your problem but many years ago I had a batch of clones that looked healthy as hell but just would not grow. I was fairly nOObish back then and never thought about the tiny black flies hanging around as there wasn't a mark on any leaves. Turned out they were fungus gnats and I had a can of Fungus Gnat Killer Powder that I'd had for 10 years and never used. Shook a little of that on top of the soil and in days the clones got going.

Stuff like that often shows up in bags of soil so store those far away from your plants. Easy to test for too. Dig down into the moist soil and get a tsp of it. Put that in a shot glass of water filled to the brim. Place a sheet of TP or white paper towel over it to soak up what has floated to the top. Then flip that over and examine it under at least 20X magnification tho 10X has worked for me when my eyes were younger. Fungus Gnat larvae look like tiny translucent baby worms with two tiny black dots that are their eyes. Often found in runoff water too.

The adults do not feed on the plants but just fly around to mate then lay their eggs on the moist soil. They do that to bags of soil at the store too so may come in with your latest buy. They're little hatchlings feed on the fine root hairs of your plants and just shut down growth tho the plants can look fine otherwise.

I got a small bag of something called Gnatrol a year ago just in case but haven't had a gnat problem in over 15 years. They like moist, we got dry.

Heads up ... that soil is hella compacted ( compressing emerging roots ) - which isn’t good. You want a medium that is “ aerated “ ( moving oxygen ) a good bagged peat mix with some added perlite. Those plants will stunt / go south on you very soon . No nute will fix that. It’s technically ..... unhappy in your host soil and is not thriving very well.

Is it yard soil ?

What’s on your soil? Are you micro feeding nuts I I’m And I also use Dr earth amendments on my soil
