Stem splitting

I’ve seen people split the stem early in a grow to almost create two plants. can this be done with autos and does it create bigger yields

Just tip or top your plants instead, better still do nothing at all to change the plant structure, dont try advanced ideas until your experienced, I recommend just letting them grow naturally for a few grows until you get some growing experience.. these are plants that i just let grow naturally.

Just focus on the basics , water and light.
