Yes I'm getting the 6 inch for my 3x3. 402 cm is very good, you should run into no problems with this fan in a 3x3 or 4x4. Where do you run the ducting if you cant run it out the window?Cheap and quiet option variable speed super quiet not a cheap mass production type of fan Super reliable Stay away from the Vivosun Mine Was useless after a month
I’m growing in the closet so I just let the air through vents that I made in the closet and I have a regular hepa filter in the room no smells at all the Hepa filter I use mainly for when I’m feeding because when I open the tent it gets really funkyYes I'm getting the 6 inch for my 3x3. 402 cm is very good, you should run into no problems with this fan in a 3x3 or 4x4. Larger filters allow you to suck more air at a lower RPMso larger filter is quieter? @ismann
Mine is 6 inch running at min which is like 50%Larger filters allow you to suck more air at a lower RPM
Theres not enough room for everything in the tent that's why the fan is is on the outside. The fan has low setting it gets noisier around 8. I have it on 2 because the light is off, there sleeping. Will the set up get rid of the smell when I start to flower in about a week?No need for all the hose. Mount the filter right to the fan, put the fan in the tent, and blow it right out the top. All that extra hose is just going to add noise and restriction.
After a month, mine sounded like it was full of gravel. I wasn't even running it all that often.Stay away from the Vivosun Mine Was useless after a month
I’ve been lucky with mine. I’m on my 3rd grow with their 6” fan (the big heavy one, not the one that looks like the same form factor as the AC Infinity). I’m definitely getting an AC infinity when mine starts getting noisy, though, because it seems to be a pretty common issue. After a month, mine sounded like it was full of gravel. One carbon filter should be fine. I only run one in my 4x4, it blows right back into the room my tent is in (during the winter) and I can’t smell anything unless I open the tent. You don’t want it on the ground, though. Mount it up top so it pulls the hotter air out of the tent, instead. So I put the fan on the tent with the Ducting and it was very powerful up there on the ground I can have it on 3 or 4 and it's good, 2 at night. So where the fan is blowing air would putting another carbon filter rid the smell even more? I'm about to flower and I want to make sure I'm covered with the smell
