What's your budget, and are you going to start them in a tent?I’m starting my 4 plants inside. Anyone got a good affordable grow light recommendation? Thanks ! I’ll be moving them outside early May but want to make sure my light is strong enough to get them going!
I can spend 150 on a light. And probably a smaller light that is strong enough. I’m vegging then I door until mid May. Prolly a light 2ft lengthBudget and size of grow area are needed, but the best option is still to build it
This is about $115, after coupon code "RIU10". Maybe use the rest for a small 2x2 tent.I can spend 150 on a light. And probably a smaller light that is strong enough. I’m vegging then I door until mid May. Prolly a light 2ft length
At least the price is reasonable enough to take a gamble on it.I recommend THIS LIGHT to people who are looking for a budget light all the time. It pulls 300W from the wall and I've been running two in my 4x4 tent for the last 2 years. IMO, this light is damn good for it's price and it's been good enough to cause me to not rush into replacing them with a quantum board setup. One of them was plenty for veg and flower in the 32" x 32" tent I started out with, too. I'm going to eventually upgrade to quantum boards, because I know I can get more out of my plants, but I've really been happy with these for the time being.
It's the only inexpensive Amazon light I recommend... and I wouldn't recommend it if I hadn't had great results with the two I purchased. When I first bought them I figured they were cheap enough that I wouldn't care if they only lasted me a year but they've been humming along for 2 years with no issues. But I also take care of them. I wipe them down and blow the vents out before each grow.At least the price is reasonable enough to take a gamble on it.
