It sort of functions as an LST. When the plant(s) reach the net, you continue to tuck the stems under the net. This will spread your canopy evenly. Great technique as fas as yields. Look it up. It's not hard, but may take some practice to get it just right. Anything under the net will be cut off and only a sea of colas in the light will get chunky

So how high do I put the net? And am I only tucking the fan leaves?

Just high enough for you to water the plants and do maintenance. You can go as high as you want really, but I dont like to waste time on vertical growth. Not the fan leaves, the new growth.
