Cannabis grown with Miracle-gro and other chemicals dont usually reach connoisseur level.
I know some chemy farmers who do grow fire. Im organic. I cant knock them for getting it right. Its not easy for new growers to get it right with chems or organics.
When MG came out with the moisture control soil some people thought it was a godsend for over and underwatering. But it has T90-120 day release (basically osmocote) fertilizers that you cant flush at the end. So for clones was no bueno.
AK, white widow, grape, sour d, ATF cali orange etc all had a similar flavor and curing was impossible. It smoked really hot and never really dried out. It felt moist and rubbery.
It was easy to tell what was grown in MG soil.

Here is my White Runtz at the start of week 6 in Miracle Gro. All of the connoisseurs that I know have a biased attitude towards MG but I grow better bud than they do. My buds are bigger denser and tastier according to the consumers. To be fair, my recipe includes more than strictly MG nutes, but MG plays a major role in my grows.

Of course you grow better bud than others. Somebody is always the top grower in their cohorts of friends.
And of course your consumers are gonna give you positive feed back.
I hear you ,the chemy farmers I know use Peters 20-20-20 among others and reuse their soil and always have nute issues in the beginning of their next dep run.
They buy my weed to smoke and sell their commercial weed. They give me their clones to grow their head stash for them to buy, i love that. Im organic based except for my pH down.
How come you dont go full or mostly organic? Your product could be even tastier. Ive had a few partial converts from the chemy farmers. Just showing them how to make a worm cast tea and using it once a week has changed their minds about using so much chemicals. That was literally the only change they made in many years to their systems of growing.
Know what ive noticed from chemy growers? They spend as cheaply as possible on fertilizer. But usually end up buying expensive fungal and insect treatments. Lol. Ive got some of them using predator mites indoors so thats a win ill take.

Nooooo, please don't judge MG based off of the Nature's Care line. Nature's Care is not good for growing weed. I use this one with great results.

Thats the one i know for the M-G flavor hahahahaha! You want that organic. Buy roots organic and then add some soil moist as directed.

When I grow outdoors I go organic. I use some organic nutes during my indoor grows but I tend to stay away from the real smelly ones that attract pests. I love alfalfa meal because of the growth hormone it has in it. I like fish meal and fish bone meal but I only use those 2 outside. I play around with the azomite for trace minerals and the dolomite lime for cal-mag and ph balance. Dried molasses also.

I've run with roots organic soil a couple of times and fed with the terp tea. I got great looking buds but my yield was smaller than when I use MG.

I’m switching to roots organic only because its available at my local store now that we’re legal here.

I’ve been growing indoors for 2-3 years now, started with MG and still using it. I start in solo cups of the seed starter .03-.03-.03. Then transplant to 3 or 5 gallons with the regular yellow bag 
Mixed with a good amount of perlite. (Not MG perlite) Probably like a 30-70 or maybe even a 40-60 mix.
This is what I have going right now. Zkittlez day 21 Since Flip.

The Performance Organics line from Miracle-Gro looks like a decent blend. It's the product in the black bag. I see nothing wrong with these ingredients and it's similar to some cannabis specific soil blends.
The container mix ingredients are:
Peat Moss, processed forest products, softwood bark, compost, perlite, yucca, feather meal, soybean meal, bone meal, sulfate of potash.
What's wrong with that soil?
Scotts Miracle-Gro has spent years buying up cannabis growing supply companies. I'm sure some of that is making its way under the Miracle-Gro label. They own Hawthorne Gardening which is the largest distributor of hydroponic products in North America. They currently have 45 companies in their portfolio and are adding more all the time. Many people that slam the Miracle-Gro company don't even realize that some of the stuff they're using is actually from a company they own.

I use straight tap water for a month or so to help with that. It must be the high ph. Anytime I ph before 3 weeks it starts messing with the plant.

The regular yellow bag is good. That's the one I 1st had success with. I use the blue bag now because the moisture control properties work well with my watering technique.

They will grow in it. It's just that from my experience they grow more vigorous out of the moisture control mix. That plant looks nice, what week are you in?
