@Renfro refers to it.
Here, we have a plant ready to eat. She’s dry, tired, and hungry. As you can see, she has fallen out of “the window”, and can’t take up nutes (she’s already eaten them all)

She is now in “the window” to take up nutes very efficiently. As this soil dries out, the PH will start dropping back to the high 5’s, but that’s ok!, I gave her the opportunity to eat when she was most able to do so. Look at my notes... you will see that I have to adjust every time I feed to stay in the window. AND they look happy!
