she didnt want to play along... i even offered her a baby wipe for after...i mean i found a hotsauce pack before the ketchup pack but being the nice person i am i opted not to use that cuz it might get in her eye... even tho tears would have made the photo more believable

Even govt contractor employees are permitted to joke from time to time. I was in the USAF for 2 enlistments and there was no shortage of joking around or horseplay. Even if his supervisor said that, I'd be willing to bet they were joking, and probably laughed when they said it to make it clear it was a joke.
Do you have any insight on how military installations are handling the situation? I know damn well they didn't allow the monkey see, monkey do, panic buying to empty the commissary and exchange shelves like we civilians are dealing with, but am curious if they are allowing personnel that live on base/post off of the installation.

I’m not sure how they are handling it, but I’m sure they aren’t permitting any base visitors and are probably making everyone who lives in base stay in their dorms/barracks unless they are on duty. Everyone I served with either got out early or retired. I felt old when a bunch of my peers in the military started retiring.

Yes, and they haven't implemented any limits on TP sales for some stupid reason. The meat shelves were bare last time I went there. Edit: Each base has their own limitations determined by the base commander.

my nephew joined the marines shortly before this started he was due to graduate bootcamp and they canceled the graduation and sent letters home saying that instead they would be shipped directly off to their reporting barracks
