Should I give up?

After my previous post of asking what was wrong with my plants I'm thinking of starting over.

This is about a month old believe it or not, had a shakey start in jiffy tab that dried out as I had been warned about being careful with water and I followed guides which didn't work well for me, transferred to new jiffy and it grew, so I then put the whole jiffy in AllMix to stop it from drying out, and it's barely grown at all since then (nearly 2 weeks ago)

Indoor tent with a 300w led on 18/6 now, clip fan next to inlet to help fresh air get in, exhaust fan running at 15 minute intervals through the night. Inside temp was usually around 29°c but did fluctuate every now and then, and rh at 34%.

Should I start over is my question?

Depends if you have access to more seeds and supplies atm.. I'm going through a slow growth situation myself.. mines are at 8ish days.. thought this was gonna be a walk in the park!!! Lol

No I haven't measured the light, I bought a moisture and light metre but it was cheap and doesn't seem to work. I have been wondering about the light though weather it was powerful enough, but weather i have it 20cm away or 80cm away the seedlings never look as though they are reaching for the light so that must be a good sign I'd think?

Not sure about that, I believe it is good when the leaves are slightly tilting upwards, I thought it meant they are happy.. When the plant is pointed straight up then I tend to think it means it is begging for more light.. hopefully someone can chime in as I'm a newbie myself

Unsure if my guage is off but from where the plant is in reletive distance from the light it's between 800-900 lux?

I was using biobizz AllMix in 5" plastic pots with good drainage at the bottom.

Just transplanted one to the Verve multi-purpose compost from b&q to see if it helps. The older plant I will just let get on with it and see if it makes it. In the meantime I am starting a new seed today and will try to get the environment better from the get go for this one

Hope it all turns out well brother, I noticed you said you run the exhaust at 15 minute intervals through the night, is that the only time you exhaust? I'd love to see a picture of the setup. I was going to grow with no exhaust in my room but ended up using a tent I had in storage which is 3x3x6.. pretty large for a small room.. anyway.. my plants are receiving about 14k lux now and seem to be happy, just think I better water em soon.. I also have two that I left outside to sprout, they will be getting heavy sunlight today

I would. Got nine going from seed on week 6 right now. I had same issue with one of mine. Dried out early on and it’s very small compared to others 20 times it’s size. Cut your loss and start over

Praying leaves is a good sign.

Cheers mate, left them in with one transplanted to another soil. Will likely cut my losses but have another seed germinating now so if that takes over then will give up on the first two. Read through your thread to! Doing better than me mate! Best of luck!

And I have the exhaust on during lights on now to keep temps down, but waiting on delivery of my new thermostat that will open it to keep temps stable

A Jiffy pellet is for germinating a seed., you don't need to worry about water, because after it's soaked you never water it again.
You keep the pellet covered so no moisture can escape, once the seed has broken surface you plant it in your growing medium.

Your using LED's right?
No need too worry about heat.
A pot plant can do fine in a temp range from 60 F (below that growth is diminished) up to 90 F (after that you will stress it)
