Title says it all. Does it work? Still learning about led. Plants like higher temps with led, so I was unsure how much it will help or just fry up leaves? I know I could build strips cheaper than buying some. I have been down that rabbit hole for weeks! I am lazy and prefer someone who does it for a living design it and build it. Safer and looks cleaner than I could do. So I was looking at the hlg 100w saber with driver. $229each. Does mixing hps and led work? And do you think 2 44" strips on each side of a 4x8 would be enough side lighting?

Thanks guys. Next question, do I just run them at full power or would I need a potentiometer for each light? Or would I need a controller to connect all 4 together?

I was hoping some led guys would chime in? Alot of the led build stuff said you had to dim them down for better efficiency and longer life. Am I over thinking it? They are only 100w 4ft bars. Just blast em at 100% and pay attention to what's happening?

Yeah pretty much this.
25w per foot, depends on the space you have between walls and plants.

Just pay attention to the plants
