4x400 watt hps for 10 plants?

Hello,i need your opinions please.
I will try to grow 10x super skunks (NOT autos)
I got a little less than 3x3 (meters) grow space available.
I will start flowering when they're about 50-60 cm
I am gonna use 15 lit. Pots,i am thinking not to do anything else except topping and some defoliation.( I am opened to any suggestions)
I will have as basic nutrition micro,grow,bloom and on flowering i will use piranha for the first two weeks and bud candy for the whole flowering.
For lights i am gonna use 4x400watt HPS + 200/250 watt led,i will keep the plants
Around 16-18 inches (-+40cm) from the HPS lights.
So my questions:
1.You think 4x400 HPS watt is to much for 10 plants and will harm them?or i will just have a bigger yield and faster growth?
2. if the plants are kept under well conditions (humidity, temperature, pH etc) what do you think the dried yield would be from 4x400 watt for 10 plants?
Opened to any suggestions

You light an area (50 - 60 watts per sqft with HPS) and you put the plants in that area. Obey that logic and you will be fine. Probably start them all under one light and as they grow spread them out and add lights as required.

If you do well you could expect around 1 gram per watt.

One last very silly question,you mean 60 watts per sqft of the room in general or 60 watts per sqft only where the plants are?
(I wasn't able to find on Google a specific answer on that)

Well there is little reason to light the floor lol.

And 60 is on the high end, probably best left to CO2 grows with optimal conditions.

Yeah i am thinking to use some CO2 tablets.
Do you know how to use those?,like when,how often,and how many plants per tablet?
And the watts of light per sqft you mean p.a.r watts or just watts?

Man thats likely gonna be a waste of time. Firstly tablets and bags aren't the way to do Co2. Secondly you would need to have the room setup with AC and Dehumidification such that it's not venting (sealed).

2x 600s for sure... big hose better than lots of hps. Lots of leds better than few big leds.

So if i can use 2x600 it means i can use 3x400?..my question is basically will it hurt the plants to give them more than 60-70 watts per sqft,and how far can i go with it?

And I'm saying 400w hps suck compared to 600w. Its not just a matter of watts. Trust me I've tried 250 400 600 and 1k. 600w is minimum hps I would consider to give good weed... hard buds etc. Your cycles will be longer under 400s

ya 600s are way more efficient than 400s.

Just to be clear, 3m x 3m requires a lot more light than that, but 1200w is enough to grow 10 plants if you keep to 1x2m -1.2x2.4m

Good point... yeah a 3x3 would want 4 600s
