Hey, so all the information online about N-P-K ratios are all to facilitate bigger buds, higher yields etc. Does anyone know the best ratios for seed production to increase the number of seeds and the weight of the seeds?
Bigger plant= bigger areas to polinate= more seeds.Hey, so all the information online about N-P-K ratios are all to facilitate bigger buds, higher yields etc. Does anyone know the best ratios for seed production to increase the number of seeds and the weight of the seeds?
Makes sense, so train for the most bud sitesBigger plant= bigger areas to polinate= more seeds.
Interesting. I was thinking it can't be the same as flowering for flower massFor my mix, the demand for mag & nitrogen actually seem to go up during heavy pollination.
Yeah. Some people only polinate 1 branch and get 10 or whatever seeds, but the more buds, the more seeds they can provide.Makes sense, so train for the most bud sites
Pollination timing will determine the amount of seeds, size is genetic. But you do want to provide plenty of nutrients. I like to run a little higher in N than I would for flowers, I run bloom nutes and micros are important as well. Think of it like your feeding a pregnant lady, these pollinated plants are eating for more than one.Hey, so all the information online about N-P-K ratios are all to facilitate bigger buds, higher yields etc. Does anyone know the best ratios for seed production to increase the number of seeds and the weight of the seeds?
I don't think it works like that... Just focus on growing healthy good yielding plants... And try to pollinate early. From what I have read seeds need a solid 3-4 weeks or longer to mature. If you are growing autos that finish in 10 weeks and start showing sex at week 4, that doesn't leave you a lot of time to mess around. Pollinate early and then you are sure to only get good mature seeds.Hey, so all the information online about N-P-K ratios are all to facilitate bigger buds, higher yields etc. Does anyone know the best ratios for seed production to increase the number of seeds and the weight of the seeds?
So with autos I could start the pollen plant 4 weeks ahead of the seed plant?I don't think it works like that... Just focus on growing healthy good yielding plants... And try to pollinate early. Just checked out your threads, really impressive. Is the pollen plant always three weeks ahead of the plant you are going to pollinate?Don’t think you can do that.
