i cant find this part at homedepot or lowes (threaded union)

I'm trying to find this part online on their website and its driving me nuts.. I have searched over 20 pages in the pvc and still can't find it. Anyone know the correct name to find this piece? Thanks.

It's a threaded reducer coupling. There's no size reference, so it could be 3/4" to 1/2", 5/8" to 3/8" ...you'll have to identify the two diameters.

Correct. You're not going to find that at home depot, I can tell you that right now, my dude.
The only thing I can add is that it's a MALE thread X MALE thread reducing copling.

I haven't been to a Home Depot in years, but my local small hardware store does have parts like this in the outdoor irrigation section. Next bet would be a hydroponics shop.

Yeah, not saying you won't find them locally by any means. Just really doubting the BigBox stores such as Lowe's or HD.
I'd check a sprinkler supply.

3/4" is the same size as a garden hose, if that helps...I'd guess that is a 3/4" x 1/2" threaded reducing coupler

If that came with a mag drive pump, the thread size won't match up with anything standard.

Your best bet to transition to a standard pipe is to use the barbed adapter that comes with the pump and use a short piece of tubing to connect to a barbed fitting for the pipe you want to use.
