should I flip to flower or wait a bit

Mines isn’t really a tent per say... it’s a frame and panda film constantly moving size... but around 3x3x5

It’s good not great ... requires a seasoned grower tho ... canopy and spacing have to be almost perfect fo achieve top shelf but very possibl

I have a grow going called purple sprite grow I use a supplemental blurple

hears my tops after last harvest the ts1000 was 12” from tops at harvest time

I veg for eight weeks and flower for 10+ in three gallon pots. I check the root ball of every plant after harvest, just to monitor health. I've never come close to the point where I felt I needed to up size my pots. (400W MH for veg, 1000W HPS for flower). I'm in peat though, but that shouldn't make much different I wouldn't think.
You max at 3 gallon?

Strait coco or is their perlite in their?

I use primarily Sunshine #4 peat based medium, which already has Perlite in it. I used to mix in extra Perlite, but stopped that practice as I was having to water more often for no good reason. I've never grown in coco myself. I've got a couple bricks of it though, and am going to run a couple plants in it as a side-by-side with my normal medium for new nutrients I'm switching to before I use it on all of my production plants.

I’m going to start doing phenos next batch of seeds. I thought everyone maxed out at 5. I need to do more research.

I max out at 2 gallon. I don’t even wonder if four plants will give me at least a lb in a 4 x 4.

just finished tucking and stretching her out I hate how dense her leafes are... her canopy as of today is 14”x14” what do you guys think any improvements I can do?

I find I like to use 5 gals leave one gallon empty... so really like 4 .... seems like it’s easier to feed less frequently and prevents overnuting.. my one and a half gals do well tooo they just won’t produce as much bud.

So a qp per plant? That’s nuts man how long do you veg for and what kinda training do you do?

I go about 5 weeks from seed to flip. It kinda varies how busy I am and how fast the plants root.

I’m not ever in a rush, and I really focus on getting the pots root bound before potting up.

I don’t pay much attention to upstairs as I cut my plants all back anyways at week 3. I want to get roots, not leafs. I top using uncle Bens method. Just above 2nd true node to get four mains on each plant.

I’m basically holding back vertical growth during vege so I can root up.

DTW multi feed coco’s RULE is small pots, root bound from the core outwards, and multi feed often. Never let your pots dry. Put layer of hydroton on top of coco to keep out gnats. Feed often. More the better. I do 9 x day in flower.

In coco multifeed you actually want to root bound your plants. Unlike soil.

Once she hits the two gallon. (Solo to one gallon to 2 gallon) you wait a week and flip.

For training I semi scrog, bend, twist cut and bend the canopy as even and full as possible. Fill the canopy with tops.

I suggest you go to ICMAG and read the two stickies in the coco forum. The DTW one and the Tree’s one.

They are both 100 plus pages. But if you read them you’ll be years ahead of the game.

Their systems are 1lb per 4x4 easy.

I use megacrop instead of Lucas formula, etc. At 1-1.2 EC veg through flower. KISS method.

If you multifeed to run off they’ll do better. And even in that 1.5 gallon you’ll sq

Read those threads. They’ll blow your mind. Treat coco like hydro, not soil.

Feed them more to run off. You’ll get better results and better yield. How do you think guys get huge buds in a solo cup contest grow?

I’m a fan of the 4 way lst too 4 branches are a lot easier to manipulate

Be prepared to be mind blown

(Actually the top three stickies in the coco coir forum there are golden. This one I thinks the best. )

For this system to work best you’ll have to up your temps though. You need to get some transpiration happening!

Your plants looking good!
