Alternating mh and hps daily

Anyone ever tried alternating hps and mh daily during veg? I only have one ballast but it can switch between the two. Would there be a benefit from mixing them?

The ideal situation is to mix them.

As far as your grow is concerned, run MH for veg, HPS for flower, and maybe switch back to MH the last week or two before harvest.
