Nah. Racial discrimination, oppression, disparity are based on a power imbalance. Racism is a general term to describe the idea that someone's physical, ethnic characteristics define their abilities and worth in society. Racism can be the result of a power imbalance, but it is not a prerequisite.

The only work I’ve done besides childcare lately is a new deck for ourselves

I did it all for $7k from our refinance money. My wife the genius decided to refi our house days before the panic and collapse. We got a much lower payment, two months of no mortgage payments, and about $40k in equity. I’d say she made a good deal at the perfect time

the deck came out pretty ok

Landlords are average losers who think it's OK to fuck over people

Maybe they should have prepared for this sort of circumstance and pulled themselves up by their bootstraps, maybe taken a second job or put off that vacation to Reno another year or two..

Or they are people who have also worked very hard their entire lives to build up enough wealth to be able to use what they have to not only provide a place to live to another human in exchange for a portion of what that person earns.

There are not just 2 possibilities to every situation. Everything is not binary.

I'm renting now. My landlord is like 80s maybe 90. Old as hell. Drives an old mercury, still cuts grass and works on apartments. Got his son helping him who's about late 60s lol. Stupid guy who still works his ass off and doesn't let people live here for free. What a dick amiright?

Them poor ol' landlords, just tryin' to earn an honest buck.. What eva will they do if the tenants can't afford they rent this month, I say, I hope them poor landlords don't go hungry waitin on those checks..

My in laws are landlords among other things. You think they vacation in Reno? Their last trip was to the Swiss alps
