You gotta have a light leak somewhere bro. There's just no way that they have received 4 weeks of a legit 12/12 light cycle and are not showing any signs of bud development. You should close yourself inside your grow-room and turn the lights out so you can see if ANY light is peeking through a crack somewhere. Do that and get back to us.

Well after the 1st week i did that. I turned on all the lights outside the room and then went into the room to see if there was any light leak. and there was coming from under the door, so now i put a towel covering the door. i checked it.

i went in while a friend put the towel and its just pur dark, but that was 3 weeks ago.

Do it again, but this time stay inside the room in the dark for at least 5-10 minutes to allow your eyes sufficient time to adjust. If after 10 minutes or so you are able to see your hand in front of your face, then you know you have a light-leak issue that needs to be addressed. Even after 20 minutes in the dark, enclosed room, you should not be able to even make out the outline or shape of your hand 3 inches in front of your face. Give it a shot and update us as to the outcome.

What is your light setup? Have you checked your timer to make sure its doing it's thing? Often times you need more light to flower than veg.
You can also try leaving it in 24 hr darkness to get it going and then continue with your 12/12 cycle. hmm... peculiar

i have fluorescent (daylight) lighting. in that room.
i'm going to try staying there for 20mins to test it again.

Has to be your timer or something to do with light. If not then try changing to fresher soil and increasing your watts of light to give it eveything possible it needs to grow. The other thing you might want to do is e-mail the seed bank if your got it from one and see if there were any funny issues with the seeds.

just been following your problem you said daylight fluorescent basically you need two types of bulb one in the 2700k range for flowering one 6400k for vegging you cant flower under blue light but you can under red you can keep a plant under blue and it wont flower so check 2700k is red 6400k for blue hope this helps in some way

I'm pretty sure you can flower under blue spectrum but it's just not recommended because it's not optimal for flowering.

Could be slightly related to the light color spectrum, however, these plants will show preflowers (may not get past preflowers though) under any light spectrum with a 12/12 schedule.

I could be off base here but have you taken them off their veg food and began to use flower food yet? I ask because veg food is too high in nitrogen for flowering plants so they may think they are still in veg because of the food. Let us know.

would you really want to even bother with flowering under blue it would be a waste of time thats why i didnt mention it you want the best results you use the best spectrums extra co2 helps as well and yes there is co2 all around but a little extra co2 makes a big difference brewers yeast n sugar simple cheap

agreed look up the hormone florigen, when your light leaks it throws off the budding process, even a small crack. you shouldn't have waited this long to post something. and the lights your using look real weak

how long did you vegg for??

and how far are the cfls away from the plant? usually causes stretching if to farr

my idea is that they are not getting the right amount of light needed.

try adding some t8 bulbs to the mix

if im wrong anyone let me kno im not a cfl master or anything just use them for my vegging and a 400hps for flower

Sorry for the delay, went to home depot to get some supplies.

So inside the closet i took some black trash backs and created a gettho type curtains. i was in there for about 20mins and it doesnt get any darker than that.

lighting, i have 2 t8 -48 inch lights, along with just 2 more 100 watt bulbs closer to the plants. ( i will take a picture tomorrow to show)

I went to and bought couple of t8 48's soft 3000k bulbs to relace the daylight ones 6500k.

so tomorrow will be my 1st run with them.
