Series connection is only 1 jumper attached between the boards, not 2. I'm not sure what boards or configuration that you are running that's why I wondered if series or parallel was the goal.

My HLG kits run as series circuits


I’ve been running these exact boards for 2 years lol. I hooked them up how they’ve been hooked up.
 
any thoughts as to why?
Do you mean you screwed the boards back on the heatsink after having them off it?
What driver are you using? Is it parallel wiring?
Have you got the neg - on one board coñected to + on other maybe?

Yes I sealed the panels back on their original heat sinks because I mixed the boards up well over a year ago. Here’s some pics of my other boards which I never swapped back yet and they are working just fine still. And picture of my driver

I dont know how to take a screenshot on winblows. but it looks like you indeed have the positive connected to the negative. rotate that board on the left 180
Ctrl + Prnt Scrn then open paint and file-paste. Crop what you want. Save- name your file.
