cloning w/ no gel or powder?? help!!

i was wondering if it is possible to clone in soil while not using any kind of cloning hormone just water and soil plz gimme ur thoughts any kind help thanks happy tokin

Yes you can although ive never tried it ive rooted clones in straight perlite with no rooting hormone, i think it just helps but isnt required.

you can root it in a glass of water on widow sill, but the chances of rooting are greatly increased with some rooting hormone but some will root with nothing.

It also depends on the strain, mine for instance, takes FOUR EVER to start rooting but some people have no problem just throwing a clipping in some water and leaving it over night. I just winged it the first time I cloned and I had about a 50% survival rate because I messed up somehow and my plant doesn't like to be cloned. I say go for it, see what happens. Be sure to study how to do it on youtube, thats what I did and it helps more than you would think.

Why dont you just put it in a cup of water and put it on the window sill?

Much easier that, ive done it multiple times and it works well.

I did. they way that I messed up is the light was to intense. I used a 400w mh at a foot

Oh yeah that'll do it. Espeacially if it was directly under it you really just need to avoid direct light to the roots.

That wasn't intended toward you though. More so the kid who made the first post.
