Pretty sure you can have 4 plants legally no matter what buddy.I have mailed out my acmpr application and have a doctors prescription for 20 gram/day. do i have to wait until the acmpr is finalized and have recieved the license to grow? I am from Surrey, BC.
Risk of getting caught is minimal. But if the goal is to provide the new member with good advice, you are not legal to grow more than 4 without the ACMPR. It’s not just processing of a doctors signature, it’s ensuring you meet other requirements also. Such as proximity to parks and schools, criminal history etc.Personally I would just get at it if it was me. You're approved once the doctor signs the form. Health Canada is just processing the paper work. Just my opinion though. Use your own discretion.
Correct. It's not the doctor's signature that matters when you're trying to go med legal, it's the signature from Health Canada that matters. The doctor's signature is but a prerequisite to applying for the license from Health Can.Risk of getting caught is minimal. Don't mean to come off the wrong way here but this is 100% false. If you're a medical patient that has been prescribed cannabis from a doctor, proximity to parks and schools, criminal history etc. mean nothing. You're still entitled to your medication despite these things. It’s not just processing of a doctors signature, it’s ensuring you meet other requirements also. Again, don't mean any disrespect but this is mostly incorrect as well. There is no "signature from Health Canada". It's only the doctors signature that matters. If it was up to Health Canada none of us would be approved.Correct. If you want to remain legal, you have to wait until the application process is complete, and you're officially approved.
Funny, cause every time I renew mine, I have to fill out those pre requisite questions, check the boxes stating I haven’t been charged in the last 10 years, don’t live within certain distance from schools etc. This year I moved and had to provide proof by email showing I actually live at the address also. Then the email reply I get from Cannabis@canada.ca specifically tells me that I am not authorised until I get the license in the mail. Whole process takes 4-6 weeks before COVID. I just got my renewal in January..... Oh, and the law firm my spouse works for that deals with ACMPR licensing for major growers....they advised the same thing.Don't mean to come off the wrong way here but this is 100% false. Are you a designated grower or an actual patient? There is a section asking if you've been busted for a cannabis offense while registered under "the program" but that's it. Other than that you're fine. Nothing about distances to schools, parks and etc.Funny, cause every time I renew mine, I have to fill out those pre requisite questions, check the boxes stating I haven’t been charged in the last 10 years, don’t live within certain distance from schools etc. This year I moved and had to provide proof by email showing I actually live at the address also. Entitled to your medication with a doctors signature, yes, able to grow more than 4 without the ACMPR on hand...absolutely not.
Patient authorized to grow indoor and outdoor. Are you a designated grower or an actual patient?
