Can young plants chill under inadequate lighting for a couple weeks?

Hi,

I'm a new member and this is my first grow. I've been able to find lots of information on my own from searching, but I have a situation that I haven't been able to get any clarity on. I was hoping someone experienced could give me some advice

First a little background:

I sprouted two Critical mass plants from seed 3.5 weeks ago. They were given to me and I figured I'd give it a go.
I put them under a T8 shoplight with the plans to move them outside.

After looking up more info on the strain I don't think they will do well outdoors in my climate.
I'm in eastern Ontario. it's very humid here in the summer and wet in the fall. mold seems unavoidable.
I've decided to grow them indoors, which means I need to get a setup together in short order.

Despite being under a pair of 4' T8 bulbs these girls have taken off very quickly.
So quickly I've now had to transplant twice, from solo cup to 1 gallon pot to 7 gallon fabric pot.
I've transplanted just one into the 7 gallon pot today, did some light LST. The other soon to follow.

I'll getting a 600w MH/HPS setup and a 4x4 tent.
I've ordered everything but the shipping delays mean I won't get anything for a couple weeks.

The question:

If I can't get a proper setup for 2-3 weeks can these girls hang on just under the t8 lights?
I have no way of getting anything any faster, except maybe another t8 fixture from home hardware.
I'm hoping that worst case the growth just slows a bit.. They're seem pretty healthy to me .

Ontario weather has been shitty so far. It has to turn soon ...

Cannabis does quite well under fluorescent lights. I used to do full runs under fluoros and hauled some very nice bud.

If you have them under 2 bulbs right now (80 watts), you would be wise to grab a second fixture and get them under 160 watts. Three cool white bulbs and 1 warm white bulb will give you a good spectrum to keep them vegging nicely until your HID light and tent arrive.

Could take em outside on sunny days while your in veg, it's free light.
Keeping em under 24 lights and get good sun when it's avail.
Watch for bugs.
No ins and outs in the flower area.
