Condensate pump for mini split

So I kind of made a putz move- I was running my 2 ton mini split, getting things up and running. While I was rearranging some of the wires outside flower room a few days ago, tidy'n up extension cords, ect, just getting stuff ready for a run. Only thing is I plugged the condensate pump that drains water from the mini split in the wrong extension cord and thought it was plugged in. I had the mini split running for a few days without the condensate pump running. I just noticed it when I was watering plants in room just now, water was spilling out of the condensate pump onto the floor. Things is there wasn't alot of water, it was a lot less than I expected. Some went under the vinyl fake wood floor I just installed. Might have pooled up under there. Just wondering could I have messed anything up with the mini split? It seems to be running fine. I was in the room yesterday and didn't notice water coming out of the condensate pump or water on the floor, I thought the a/c has to drain water every once in a while. Why wasn't there more water in that case?

Won't hurt the ac. Water would fill up in it and spill over like you saw. Water amount made depends on relative humidity. If it isn't particularly humid right now, then it may not have removed much and wouldn't "produce" much water. If water was pouring out of it when you weren't looking, then it went under stuff or behind wall, and that could be bad, or just not cool. Depends on amount of water and materials in contact with it.

Ya the rh in the room was under 50% the other day...it got a but humid yesterday hence when I noticed the water spilling out. I think all is good, just wanted to make sure. Thanks

I would install a water alarm so it doesn’t happen during a crucial part of your grow or cause property damage if something went wrong
