Bit late reply but yes the pot sits in a tray and the tray has an aqua valve in it that releases when it gets dry to add more liquid, then the float valve cuts it off again. So yes you can move the pots freely from one area to another if you wish and can have a different res and tray set up or just simply move the existing one.Can these auto pots be carried from veg room to flower room or does the entire system have to be moved?
I'm looking for 8-16 6.6 gallon pots. Where's the best deal and what upgrades do I need to make immediately? connections lines etc?
Anyone make good homemade ones, I've got a supply of reservoirs Ive done very well outside with homemade earthboxes just never tried inside
Im looking to get away from single plant waterings every 2 days
Its advisable to upgrade the lines so they don't clog but you can also run a cleaner in your nutrients to stop it.
They are ok, wont compare to a true hydro set up or a top fed coco dtw drip system but the main benefit is they are silent.
You can buy the aqua valves separate so in theory you could use one valve to feed a larger tray. Though you would want to be sure it is secure or your valve may not turn off and the res will empty itself.
