Would Ona Gel Mask Odor in a Greenhouse?

Hi all,

First time grower here, go easy on me...

I've got one Durban Poison plant growing away in my mini greenhouse.

I was wondering how much odour this one plant will create, will it be noticeable to neighbors if I keep the door closed, and will Ona Gel Pro by the door of the greenhouse help mask the smell?

Picture of the mini greenhouse attached.

Thanks in advance!

A single plant can still have a strong smell in flower that can easily carry to a neighbors yard. If you have an exhaust fan then I would recommend a carbon filter. Ona gel isn't very effective, IMO.

Ah, thanks for that. Can't hook up anything electrical in my garden. Oh well, I'll just have to ride it out. I've got a lot of lavender, rosemary and thyme in there with it, so I guess we'll see...

Ona gel should not come into contact with plants, or be in the same space, it will cling to the plants and make them taste like shitty perfume.

The way to use it is where the air exits, it only works if that air cant get back into the area the plant is in.

I’ve heard of growers using manure constantly around the perimeter of the grow in attempts to mask the smell when the wind blows. I’m not sure how well it works but maybe a similar idea would work out for you like you’re saying lavender or something at first then when the smell kicks up something more aggressive

If you've got a filter, set it up in the house and have ducting running to greenhouse sucking it into the house maybe

I’ve got a giant pile of horse shit behind the barn year round and it doesn’t mask the smell of the plants I’ve grown outside at all.

well to mask an odor you would have to use stuff around the perimeter of the grow, not on just one side of the yard
when the wind blows 3 directions the poop doesnt mix in with the smell, I thought the idea was to make it so any way the wind blows the shit kind of masks the smell

True. Cow shit stinks a lot more so that might work better too.
