Maxi Grow and MaxiBloom?

So I’m using the KISS formula: 1 tsp/gallon and going to supplement with cal-mag as needed.

I want to incorporate Kool Bloom as well.I currently have it in powder form. Do I need the liquid form as well? What would be the feeding schedule for those?

You may not need to use full strength.
Liquid KB is for the beginning of flowering......it has high P.
Dry KB is for the last two weeks........it's very strong and is used for ripening.

Thanks. Been reading a lot of stuff that says it’s not even really necessary and all it does is help shorten the flower period by a few days...

You can definitely grow great plants with just using MaxiBloom without bloom boosters. I just started using the KB on my last two grows on the recommendation of another grower.......and frankly I didn't see a difference.

Thanks so much for sharing that. Truly appreciate it. As a new grower the last thing I want to do is add something I don’t really need and possibly burn my girls. I’ll KISS.

I plan to use MB from start to finish and will supplement with cal-mag only if needed.

That's good thinking but the maxi grow is great for veg. I wouldn't hesitate to use it even if you are trying to keep things simple.

Maxi Grow will work during veg, yes, but you can also use Maxi Bloom during both veg and flower (start to finish) with excellent results...keeping it about as KISS as you can...

I've used maxibloom and micro successfully on 2 dwc grows. I've been on a 10 year hiatus, but now using them again but with a different setup.

Why MaxiBloom and Micro?
Isn't Micro part of the 3 part Flora Series?
I was following lucas formula, and the bloom and micro provide all the nutrients necessary without the gro for all stages. Just trying to keep it as simple as possible. I may have totally misread the whole concept though, albeit it worked.

Anyone know what I'm dealing with here?

Marijuana. Lol, sorry. Couldn't help but be a smart ass. Not really seeing what you are concerned about though. My new grow after 10 yr hiatus I probably made every newb mistake in the book, and they recovered and are doing fine. I really thought they were goners. Yours looks fine to me, but I'll let more experience diagnose.

I think you're confused.......MaxiBloom is a powder to be used as a stand alone nutrient.
Flora Micro and Flora Bloom are in the Flora Series and are liquids and when used together at a 1:2 ratio is the Lucas formula.

You're probably right. However I used two part powder formula my first two grows, but I know maxigrow was not part part of it. Damned if I can remember, didn't keep a diary other than what I needed and you know, the usual, too many bong hits.

Hell, maybe it was 1 part, bloom all the way. Lol.

I use tap water........I never have to supplement with calmag.
My last grow.......the strongest I fed was 1/3 tsp. per gal......I only feed enough so the plant is healthy......not necessary to feed full strength.
I've been feeding at 2 tablespoons per 8 gallons. I seem to have run into a pH issue recently, but I'm on top of it now. Do you use anything besides maxibloom?

I use silica and sm-90 when it was available. I've never used bloom boosters and another grower recommended KoolBloom.......so I tried it......and frankly I didn't think it made a difference.

What was your pH issue?
