That is just propaganda. You must have grown up AFTER the cold war. Even a cursory look at Russian & Chinese economies will tell you those statements are blatantly false. It's not one big love fest out there that people seem to think the U.S. is missing out on. It really isn't.

Wen said that the two nations could withstand the global financial crisis if they joined forces; Putin urged him to go farther and stop using U.S. dollars in Russian-Chinese settlements. This idea is nothing new. Russia and China reached a "framework" agreement in November 2007, which was followed by China's similar agreement with Belarus. Earlier this year, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez turned against the dollar as well when they asked their OPEC partners to stop using the dollar for oil settlements. They argued that the "green" currency was no longer reliable and it was high time they look for a more stable and predictable alternative. if this goes down, and there are only reasons for it to go down, then the USA will not be able to mess with everyone all over the world like it usually does. i think that its a good thing myself

i can see why you would be concerned because even after having such an edge on the rest of the world for so long it had been squandered and smuggled off to places unknown, and left holding the bad. and now the magic printing press is being repossessed by the demons that the bad deal had been signed with in the first place.

The only people who are going to be "sucker punched" are the ones who have not already made plans to protect themselves economically from the financial train wreck which is about to be exasperated by a NOOB president. As Obama paddles as fast as he can away from free markets and towards Govt. markets, the sound of the falls draws near.
In keeping with the "correct" linkage between "Capitalism" and the human psyche, my personal concern has been abated by my own efforts to "move' my wealth (earned wealth) to safer havens. The farther away you move from this "linkage" (socialism & communism), the worse things will get. I have always felt that the Liberals do not seem to understand this concept and continually make the same mistakes over and over.

So carry on and flail at your windmills of George Bush. As tens of thousands of "producers" are moving their "hot" assets overseas away from danger, all I can say is it is going to be a cold comfort for the unprepared. A cold comfort indeed.

America is learning a hard lesson about shipping manufacturing jobs overseas. We can't regulate what these factories overseas are doing. Hell the Chinese are killing each other with poison's due to no one overseeing their factories. Today's tidbit is now the melamine is in livestock feed, which in turn caused the eggs laid by the chickens to be poisoned. What a clusterfuck, guess we should have kept our manufacturing here where it's controlled and safe.

yea there is no way to make world trade fair unless the person your trading with plays by the same set of rules you do or else its crap, didnt anyone teach these leaders that shit or did $$$$ get in thier eyes


lets make 6000 little babies sick to make some extra cash for cigs. what a nasty bunch putting poison in baby food.

50% of the produce in the north american super markets are imported from china, and the chinese dont even want to eat it because of the conditions in which it is grown, and if the chinese wont go for it.....
