Lighting for 3x3x6.5

I am currently running a 3x3 setup and currently using the invisible sunISH265W pro(3000k) quantum board kit running 2 288v2 boards running lm301b diodes, I plan on doing 3 plants in a scrog, and not sure if although I feel that the 265w will do really well, I feel that its not got the best light coverage for a 3x3 and might not get the max potential out of the girls in flowering because of it, looking to see what you guys think and if I should add some lighting what light do you think would be best?

Not sure about LED's - but I'd run a 400 watt HPS in a 3x3..

If I had a good way to deal with the heat, I'd actually go for a 600 watt HPS in that space.

I think my 265w is supposed to be equivalent to 400w hps output I believe but the light distribution just isn't quite there for the 3x3

i was going to try and grab some sort of another invisible sun led light but there customer service hasn't been too great to be fair so trying to look elsewhere...

Your invisible sun LED can flower both a 2x4 and 3x3.

yeah it can but not sure it can flower a 3x3 at max potential if you see what I mean. like I feel like I could easily beef up yields with a bit more lighting, wanna get a pound out of 3x3 really
My light isn't even as powerful as that one and I yielded 11oz with 2 plants. Sure I could have hit 16 if I had a stronger light. So if I can do it, im sure you can.

I'd stay away from hps unless you can deal with the heating problems that come from it. The Mars Hydro TSW 2000 has better par readings than yours I believe, but it's only an extra 30W or so. Probably not worth it for a 10% power bump.

I only intent on sticking with led really, (quantum boards/strip/cobs) nothing else really interests me. And i don't think i'd ever go back to blurples...

Watts are watts. there is no equivalence. Your 265w is equivalent to 265w. The hype has always been ridiculous in the LED world - LED's are fantastic at growing plants and there's no need to hype them up beyond reason. I use between 200-400 watts of LED for similarly sized spaces and Yields are great.

True to an extent. A 1000w double end hps does throw out 20-30% more light than a single end. Just like high end leds putting out more light and less heat than low end. But the difference is not as much as people think it is thats for sure.

Watts are not just watts. Efficacy matters!
