so .. I’ve ordered some kind soil for my next run but I’m running into issues trying to figure out what water to use , ph from my tap is 8.5 ph from my ro unit is 6 or less the website I got the soil from says to use water with a ph of 6.5 to 7 , I’ve found Crystal Geyser comes in around 6.9 should I just use that ? It would be great if I could just use the water sources I have in my house ... thanks in advance !

Why not mix them half and half. Then it should be around 7.

Thanks guys , I’ll try citric acid... assuming lemon juice isn’t a great idea? Lmao I don’t wanna wait for shipping also does it matter if my tds is around 250-300 from the tAp?
My tap ranges from 70-150 but you can always call or email the guy over at kind soil and ask. He was very friendly

R/O water don't have buffers, so the Ph will change easily. I would stick with R/O water if you bought the filter already, your thinking about it too much. In organic soil, I don't like my Ph above 6.2 because of micronutrient lockout(recurring problem for me).

Fresh lemon juice is fine. That's basically citric acid.
Vinegar too. However, don't use the stuff from Heinz because it is made from petroleum products. Apple cider vinegar/Brown rice vinegar is part of the KNF method and it's actually helpful to plants... Well, Heinz has a new "all natural" formula now, just watch out for the other stuff they make.
