props for saving Sheeba!
Thanks but honestly it was my pleasure...I thank the big man for leading her to me n bringin us together...i pray for all suffering animals to find help or for help to find them...ppl who abuse animals are in the same class as pedos in my book n theres a special place in hell just for them...if i ever see a human abusing an animal im maken a move no words spoken or questions asked...animals have a pure soul n only want love food n a sense of belonging...if i could save em all i would...

Funny that u spent yesterday building ur rat cat an outdoor cat house bc thats exactly what i did for Sheeba at 1st...mini dog house, i copied the design they use for sled dogs in Alaska...much smaller scale tho...she loved it...put it on my back porch n thats where she lived for few months until one morning i came out to feed her n she wasnt there...i immediately knew sumthim was wrong i could feel it. Called for her n called for her n she didnt come so i put my boots on and was abt to go bk in the woods lookin for her n here she came struggling n curled up n limping around the side of the house tryna get to me...panting in pain and scared...saw blood runnin down her legs now i was scared n worried for her so I laid down to look under her to see where the blood was comin from n jus saw a mess of thick dark blood n fur so i gently picked her up n moved her into my laundry room n called vet...it was July 4th so no vets open...she was stable n not bleeding out but in obvious pain...1st thing next morning got her str8 in the vet n she had a cut literally from mid side rib cage across her entire belly to other mid side rib cage with tissue hanging out n guts exposed...Dr did an amazing job fixin her cleaned her n stitched her up...he says either a snare or metal or glass but really odd place for an injury bc cats protect their belly so well...he dosed her up with valium n buprenorphine n sent her home...she rubbed on me n purred on me for hours knowing i saved her n she wasnt in pain anymore n we've had a connection ever sense...she was basically feral before...cost me $700 but i didnt blink an eye ive got a soft spot for animals...had to keep her inside to heal from that and bringing another cat in bc of Kiki was a concern but its worked out well...some hisses here n there but no fights my dog Shelby made sure of that she watches em like a hawk n steps in between em if she senses tension...kiki n sheeba kinda have a big sister little sister relationship now...Sheebas an inside cat now who sleeps in the bed every night n only go's out briefly then right bk in...ha

Dude, that is awful i feel your anxiety from here. I walked in on my 15-yr old tabby 2-weeks ago curled up not moving and he'd wet himself - a first in 15 years. Instinctively i just knew it was major, i lost his twin brother 5 years ago and we've had them since 5 weeks. The 1st emergency vet basically told me to put him down and 'steel' myself for the worst. Something in me told me he was on life 8 out of 9, and he still had a quality life to lead. I don't normally question professionals i respect, but something primal told me it wasn't right and i got a second opinion. Cut to 6 weeks later and he's curled up with me right now purring like a hammer drill and the $5000 bill doesn't even matter because when he headbutts me i know he knows.

That's crazy, I would hate to have found my little buddy like that, but awesome how resilient they are.

I check on him constantly and now worry about him way more, knowing that he's ours to take care of. I got him some fancy hipster cat food today made out of 3 or 4 kinds of fish, one of which being catfish, which I thought was awesome. I told him I would make him a fancy house and we came up with this with what we had laying around...it's a work in progress and will end up with shingles and some sorta siding. LOL. He can hang out on his front porch on the bottom and I'll make a loft up top for him. For now it's tarped over and he's loving it.

I love the headbutts. That's awesome you still have your buddy. I hope my gigi sticks around that long! She's 5 going on 6, I got her fresh out of rehab and she's become quite a pal. We're not sure how old the tom cat is though, but seems like he's got a while to go. I would totally have dropped the 5k too, money is nothing compared to that special bond.

Do you see any improvement in yield or frost?
So far with the first run, it seems like it got extra frosty, but some of the buds stayed smaller than I've ever seen her do. I have some in small soil pots almost on the brink of deficiency, and they are growing fatter buds. So next run I will try to do less feed, and see what happens.
