Despite the mag def, looks great...I'm trying to find my sweet spot with mag as well. When running a bunch of different strains I find it is the most common problem8 weeks update:
Showing some mag deficiencies, still trying to find the sweet spot for additional magnesium in the medium to compensate the leds. Still, they are ripening quickly and look to produce well so dialing in isn’t too far out I don’t think. I’m shooting for 9-10 weeks on these as the tricks are filling in and milking out. Already seeing some amber on the leaf resin! ECSD looks most ready followed by BOnions then larry.

Yup , store weed SUCKS! Don’t waste your money. I would like to sell mine here in OK but I would have to pay for. $ 2,500 Licence to sell to the dispensaries!! What Bull Shit!! I am going to call and see how much they pay for a pound. It might be worth it but there are no guarantees .So I have been thinking, maybe that mag issue is because I’m trying to balance the spectrum at a given intensity, what if the intensity needs to be in the red spectrum and the presence of uv in relation is ancillary? Perhaps it’s just that simple, that by providing a ratio I’m inspiring the deficiency! I know most people just assume a magnesium “tax” which I’m getting the hang of, it just seems odd to me. Seems like there are many theories, There are two that seem to make sense to me, one is that because of the lower temperatures the plants don’t transpire as quickly which causes a slow down in those elements transporting through the plant. The only issue I have with that theory is that you theoretically couldn’t correct it by adding more to the medium, so it seems that they are using more in actuality. I use both oyster shell flour and crab meal to season the soil so theoretically I shouldn’t have calcium deficiency ever. If I see that I know ph is drifting. Another theory that seems more well founded is that the skewed spectrum causes a higher demand for nitrogen which is supported by cal/mag presence. I have noticed a higher demand for nitrogen through flowering, which combined with the new formula for happy frog dry nutes I stopped using it.
It’s kind of exciting like when i first started growing.
Man on a side note I got some nug from the dispensary the other day and I found some spider mite webs up in there!!! Mother fuckers!!!
