Hey guys! When do you guys notice your plants are taking in less water? i usually feed mine 3L each watering and that takes 2/3 days to dry. I'm getting towards the end of my grow but there's still a couple of weeks left. I fed my plant 3L of water as normal just this time it took 4.5 days to dry. Should i start my flush now?

Something wrong there for sure. Plants should continuously need more water as they get bigger, except after transplanting into fresh soil. After 2 days there's no oxygen left in the water; and its no wonder the plant wont drink anymore because its suffocating.
Problems: you are using too much water at once. The soil has very poor drainage. The roots have likely unhealthy and possibly rotted from over-watering. Use less water more often.

may be normal
1-2 weeks before chop (if really finished) a plants metabolism downgrades somewhat...
did the colas also loose strength and topple to the sides...
a bit if drought stress towards the end may help in ripening

^ alot of this is based also on how many leaves the plant could retain (senescence), ambient temps, or too high nute charge could also throttle down "drinking"... pics would help...

Thanks a lot buddy. Also as regards to the flush, I've never previously flushed. Ever. Never had black Ash either with not flushing. I really just want to try it out, atleast then I have my own experience with it and can see for my self.Kass is right.

Again, thanks for the info mate! Hope it is just this and not a problem.
I'm confident the drainage in my soil is absolutely fine, I maintain a wet/ dry cycle all the way throughout. Up until I realised recently my plant would drink 3L every 2/3 days. So if I watered on a Friday lunch time by Sunday midnight, it would need another 3L. Will definitely take it on board though and see if changing the amount of water helps

What I've seen so far is that the term "flushing" is used indiscriminately for 2 separate operations, causing confusion... some feeding plans advocate "flushing" when they actually want to say "only give water" whereas a proper flush is a method to combat toxic salt buildups in a mineralic growth - ie. pour 3x the pots volume through the pot if nute build up there exceeds EC 3 (or higher) mostly likely when growers don't drain enough or not at all....
