Stress nanners

So just got a question I put a dehumidifier in my 4x4 tent however I didn’t realize when became full a red light came on now the 1 plant closest to light had a few nanners that I picked off but I noticed trichrome development is far behind others and on buds that had nanner about 60-70% of hairs have gone brown. I’m 28days into flower and wondering if plant will recover or should I chop it. Any answers will be appreciated thanks

Thanks gonna chop buds with brown hairs that I believe might have been pollinated all other buds still mostly white hairs if I see any other I will chop whole plant

In my experience they 100% have caused these. Any light that disrupts whatever the plant considers normal darkness can and will cause stress which leads to bananas on plants that have the proclivity.

I don't know but it is not from some tiny red LED. Is the plant the same strain as the others? From seed or clone? You say 28 days in to flower. Is that from switching to 12/12 or when you first noticed pistils forming? If it's from switching to 12/12 it's pretty premature for 60 - 70% brown pistils. What have you been feeding? Sounds like something is going on but it's not from the little light on the dehumidifier.

People can use some tiny LED light as a scapegoat but it's not going to stress a plant into throwing nanners. The cause is something else caused by the grower. Stress can occur from overfeeding which way to common and the cause for a good portion of all issues growers have. That's why I asked the OP if it was the same strain and what they've been feeding.

Going by the hypothesis that any light disrupts the plant then every plant growing outside would be popping nanners right and left due to the moon. I've had those solar outdoor lights in the backyard that come on at night right next to plants I was growing. Never any nanners and they're much brighter than some indicator light on a dehumidifier. They're pretty bright. It's easy for growers to blame issues and point fingers at the cause but 99% of all issues are caused by the grower. Whether they want to believe it or not is another story.

If you reread my post, I clearly stated "Any light that disrupts whatever the plant considers normal darkness " this is the key. If you've had this power strip on the whole time, the plant considers that normal. It is disruptions of these normal darkness cycles that triggers the hormones that produce male flowers.

As far as your argument about nanners outside, this is science, the information is out there, no need to speculate. Plants do not hermaphrodite outside from the moon.

Yes all same strain from same mother fed same mix from same res. plants Usually start to dry up at same time usually once a week there in 10 gal root pouches so water every 7-10 days depending when needed using optimum nutrition nutes with feed chart below as reference

I agree with you,
I am of the mindset that its hard to make plants herm due to light stress. I frequently open the tents during dark cycle, and shine a VERY BRIGHT white led flashlight inside the tent directly on the plants, sometimes for 15 to 20 minutes, sometimes every single night during flower and I do not believe this has ever been the cause of stress herm. I've grown in a closet with nothing more than a sheet covering the entrance, light leaks ALL OVER the place, I think people generally don't understand how insensitive these plants are to light leaks under most circumstances.

I grow in a perpetual with many different strains, I find good solid genetics that don't ever show nanners. EVERY seed I tried to grow of cali con tahoe og thru nanners late in flower. I chalk that up to shitty genetics when 5 other plants under same conditions don't nanner. I have a sealed room that has ran for over 10 yrs with no light leaks, heat issues or other stress factors, maybe too much light from the gavita's could have caused it, but then that plant has no business in my room.
