Sideways shot for perspectiveHi guys
Woke up today to find yellowing tips. Is this light burn or nutrient problem. Using compo sana soil with perlite. I havnt fed her anything just water.. on a 8/16 light cycle with hps 250w
Ok thanks. It's my first time so bit worried lolI see the yellow tips but those 2 spots appear to be the only discolored parts of the plant, everything else looks perfect.
I wouldnt change anything unless you see it progressively getting worse. Could be nothing.

Its exciting times now another question will a led be ok to mix with a hps. Iv got a small 75w led on the wall so the undergrowth gets more light
Ya i got that impression and assumed you were on the newer side, many peoples first couple of grows they strive for absolute perfection and anything odd is picked up on right away and its worrisome lol, its the fun part of being new to the game. It will pass, eventually you learn to not over analyze the plants and just let them do their thing.
Having said that, its great that your keeping a close eye on things, if the issue gets worse you can catch it early, if it just goes away, you can add it to the expierence list and remember for next time.

Ok sweet wasn't sure if it would stress it or not. The box says 300w but I doubt the lil £25 led is that strong lol so guessing about 75wIts not gonna hurt, its prob not really gonna do much in the overall scheme of things, but it wont hurt so if you want to keep it there it will be fine.

Getting thereYa thats a safe assumption, majority of big box led sellers love to use big numbers on the box, using 25% of their number is prob safe lol
