Breeding help

So I made my own strain (jelly dream) and I've had a few ppl test it out. First guy told me it got pollen sacks on them (but that was just on one plant outdoors in Australia)
Then my friend is growing them out indoors because he has amazing lights ... 1 out of 12 had pollen sacks. Now is there a way to breed them again to stop that from happening or no?

I am thinking that the hermi issue came from the jelly pie since I read a lot of ppl get hermi issues from green point...who knows. So can anyone help me out since this seems to be a great cross. Super fruity smelling and very sticky so far for only being in flower a couple of weeks.

Thanks you bunch of wonderful brainiacs received_4249258271758587.jpeg

if mom or dad has the tendency to grow opposite sex appendages late in flower, that trait will always be there. it can be minimized by working the line down a couple generations though. really the only thing for it is to keep popping seeds, find stable specimens, and cross them. eventually they will come to a point where only 1 out of 50 or 100 will grow balls in late flower (and become an inbred line). imo 1 out of 12 isnt bad at all though, especially in the age of polyhybrids being the norm. i see a herm or two fairly often when i pop a pack of seeds, and i just toss it into the compost bin and clone one of her sisters instead.
your strain is looking pretty nice to me. good resin development for being so early into flowering

See that is what I wanted to know. I will keep at it with her because all of the plants are just super sticky and have amazing Terps. We will see how they all finish out and I will post pics when its closer to harvest. Cant wait to try it.
And thank you...I think so too :)

I wonder if it would help if you took a cut that didn't hermie and backcrossed it with the more stable of the parents (whatever the jelly pie was crossed with)

Update: so I gave him a few of the jelly pie seeds as well. He wrote me and now said every single plant has sacs....I'm so very bummed. So out of that many ...it has to come from the jelly pie father then. Fuck.

you will just have to try again. thats why theres testers
iv had more then a few batches of home made seeds with hermie issues, but iv also made some top notch strains and F2s

I'm truly bummed... I blame greenpoint since I've been reading how tons of ppl are getting herms from them now.
They are still looking amazing tho. He said he is just plucking off the sacs and moving forward.

a few seeds in personal bud is no big deal. even the pros make crosses that dont work out, its just part of the game.
but it hurts to have wasted so much time. you just have to move on. make a mental note not to use your current stock for breading it would be a bitch to do it all again with the same results

And more n more strains carry this auto-gene, but are sold as photoperiodics, "fast"-fems or whatever... and a number of autos dont flower properly out... just stay in a leafy limbo between veg n flower... all because of dishonest breeders that mostly care about €€€... where is this going to end?

I have never had a "Jelly Pie" hermie on me, but I have had straight-up "Chemdawg Sour Diesel" and about every cross that has "Chemdawg Sour Diesel" in it hermie on me, and every time that has happened, it happened in late flower, always starting around the middle of week 7. So... to me there is something definitely wrong with "Chemdawg Sour Diesel". Yeah that shit has pissed me off way to many times that I have quit growing "Chemdawg Sour Diesel" or any other strain that has that over-sensitive bitch in the mix.

Sorry for my rant, but if you spent 18 weeks growing something that you babied like you baby all your plants and that bitch ruined your whole garden, you would understand my rant...
