Multiple problems...?

EC 68 us/cm. Isnt this number supposed to be around 1 or 2?

just watered with ph 6.2 and here is the runoff

- plant 1 took on a pretty deep green early on
- plant 2 has been very light green
- Plant 3 has purple showing on its stems and a bit on the uppermost sugar leaves


Its my first grow and i dont want to experiment or over correct without some guidance.
how should i address this, if at all?

Not I. I pull water from the lake I live on. 6.6 pH, < 65 PPM.

What I find interesting with OPs plants, is that even though the claim is a very low EC, there's still nutrient burn. Since I don't top dress or use pre-fertilized soil, I'm not in a position to offer any suggestions though.

Probably inconsistent watering letting the plant get too dry.

No. I did the exact same thing. Here are the EC values based off of the posted PPMs, using both the 700 scale and 500 scale:

The OPs ec meter As he stated is measuring in uS which is microsiemens. Or 1/1000 of a milliemen. So a reading of 253 uS is 0.253mS. And it’s converting to ppm on a 500 scale.
I too am at a loss. With the tip burn it sure looks like lockout but with those EC reading I don’t get it.
If the ECs are right I guess I would mix up some liquid feed at a 1:1:2 :: NPK throw in some Calmag and aim for an EC in your case, EC 1400 uS/cm so 1.4 for the rest of us And see where that gets you and work from there.

PPM X 2 = EC
There are three scales used for converting PPM to EC and vice versa. In your equation, there are decimal places missing:

500:
- Primarily used in North America
- 1 EC = 500 PPM
- EC = PPM / 500
- 180 PPM = 0.36 EC

640:
- Primarily used in the EU (I've never seen or heard of its use though at all)
- 1 EC = 640 PPM
- EC = PPM / 640
- 180 PPM = 0.28 EC

700:
- Primarily used in AU
- 1 EC = 700 PPM
- EC = PPM / 700
- 180 PPM = 0.26 EC

@Merlin1147 I only have fox farms big bloom. Can i use that? Whats an alternative?

Not sure if your trying to stay organic or what. I don’t use Fox Farm and am not organic. I’m sure Fox Farm has a range of ferts bloom. The Botanicare Kind I’ve heard works but they are owned by Monsanto, so there is that. You could do it with CaNO3, MKP, and K2SO4 and CalMg. or Epsom salt.
The Big Bloom is only K and P I believe.You could do with some CalMg. Usually there is enough in city Water.
